Furious Liam Gallagher blasts his brother’s One Love Manchester gig snub after Noel ignores his call to reunite

The Oasis legend was said to have made a series of phone calls to his brother ahead of the benefit concert in Manchester

NOEL GALLAGHER is one of the most connected men in the music business.

But when his brother LIAM calls, all of a sudden he becomes unavailable.

I can reveal former BEADY EYE singer Liam made a series of phone calls to try to get his big bro to join him on stage at the amazing One Love Manchester concert on Sunday.

But Noel refused to answer, preferring to continue celebrating his 50th birthday with wife Sara MacDonald and his family in Italy over discussing a potential OASIS reunion.

A source said: “After accepting the offer to perform, Liam believed he could convince Noel to take part with him.

“But his calls fell on deaf ears. Noel simply can’t entertain Liam, especially while he’s with his family on holiday.”

Liam flew from Germany to perform at the tribute concert as a last-minute addition to the bill, having been asked by COLDPLAY’s CHRIS MARTIN — who he later duetted with on Oasis classic Live Forever.

Liam’s presence went down a storm with the 50,000 fans packed into Emirates Old Trafford.

The gig was organised by ARIANA GRANDE and her manager SCOOTER BRAUN in tribute to the 22 fans killed at her Manchester Arena concert last month and the seven people murdered by terrorists in London on Saturday.

Liam, who wasn’t best pleased by Noel’s no-show, fired off a number of now-trademark angry tweets in his direction.

He wrote: “Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe.”

And he added: “Noels out of the f***ing country weren’t we all love to get on a f***ing plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f***.”

Fans keen to see an Oasis reunion shouldn’t be disheartened.

Liam still wants it to happen — but knows it’s down to Noel.

Speaking in the latest edition of Q Magazine, he said: “It’s all in his hands. I’d do Oasis. Everyone knows I’d f***ing do it.”

Perhaps next time he shouldn’t ask about it around his birthday.
