DANNIELLA Westbrook has woken from her Polish facelift feeling sore and groggy... and already looking remarkably different.
The ex-EastEnders star, 43, went under the knife yesterday, admitting that she was "s****ing herself" ahead of the painful procedure.
But fast forward a few hours and Danniella is happily recovering in her medical suite and looking forward to jetting home to Spain in a few days.
Today she gave The Sun Online an update about stage one in her journey to a whole new look.
She said: "They are discharging me in a bit and then I have to have the stitches out of my eyes on Sunday before I fly home to Spain.
"I woke up from the operation in so much pain, it was crazy how much I was hurting.
"There were drains in my face, throat and neck - basically everywhere!
"I'm dreading them being taken out, but on the whole I feel amazing so I can't moan too much."
In photos shared from her hospital bed, Danniella looks undeniably battered and bruised after the SEVEN HOUR operation.
Her face is swollen, but her skin looks radiant, hinting that a fantastic transformation is well underway.
She today admitted that she felt forced to have the painful surgery after a year of absolute hell that saw her lose a baby, split from her toyboy George Arnold. have a cocaine relapse, almost die from blood poisoning, deal with a terrifying stalker, get evicted from her home and endure agony from botched dental implants.
She said: "I've been so ill the last 18 months with my health and my teeth, then on top of that I've been trolled and ridiculed on social media and in the street.
"The pressure got so bad I had to go away and get surgery."
Yesterday Danniella shared photos of where the surgeon had drawn incision lines on her face.
In the new photos, some of these lines are still visible, and her eyelids look red from where she has had them cut open tightened up.
She wears a compression bandage around her head to help hold the various post-operative drains in place, and to help with swelling.
The former EastEnders star, 43, revealed her surgery plans at the end of last month, telling fans she was having a boob job, face lift and new teeth.
Danniella is being treated by the same doctors who operated on her good friend Christopher Maloney.
She’s had plastic surgery before, admitting on last year’s Celebrity Botched Up Bodies that she had swapped cocaine addiction for nips and tucks.
The mum-of-two famously had to have her nose rebuilt after years of drug abuse eroded her septum – and it was this op that triggered her addiction.
Talking of her lifestyle transformation during the past month, Danniella told us: “I am feeling amazing – I knew I had to do this for myself.
“With the help of the amazing team and therapists at Villa Paradiso, I can now look at myself in the mirror again and see my smile and sparkle is back.”
