LOVE ISLAND new boy Chris Hughes immediately made his presence known in the villa, chasing three and girls and winning a kiss from Chloe in his first 24 hours.

The confident hunk spent time with Chloe, Montana and Camilla but insisted in the beach hut that he was keeping his options open before passionately snogging Chloe.

His first day on the show kicks off with him rating himself as a 9.5 out of ten and better looking than David Beckham while on their date with Montana.

She said: “Who says ‘I’m a 9.5 out of ten?’ Even if you do think you’re a 10 out of 10 you don’t say 9.5 do you? You go for a modest 7. Chris is really nice but he says these one liner comments which I’m like ‘ugh, shut up.'”

As they went back to join the group after their short date, Chris complimented Montana on her bum and then asked if he could have a "cheeky grab".

She brushed him and was clearly unimpressed by his flirty behaviour.

Camilla has played it steady so far in the house, and that doesn't change with Chris's arrival, despite her admitting she likes what she sees.

The beauty said: “Chris is really nice, I definitely can see a lot of common ground between us. I definitely like what I see so far. I’m not sure how that’s going to progress.”

However, instead of getting some one-on-one time with Chris, Camilla went on a very awkward date with new boy Jonny.

Viewers were left cringing as the pair failed to click and wished the public had voted for her to go on a date with Chris.

At first, Chloe Crowhurst felt left out as Chris seemed to prefer brunettes.

However, keen not to limit himself, he began to pursue the Essex girl and admitted he had a spark with her as she kept him on his toes.

He said: “I don’t know, there’s just something about her, she keeps me on my toes a bit more. I kind of like that. I feel like I have to be on a bit of a watch out.”

Meanwhile, things got steamy later on during a game called "Battle of the Bods" where the girls decided which boy has the best body.

A text read: "Islanders, it’s time for a ‘Battle of the Bods.’ For today’s challenge the girls will get a chance to cop a feel of all the boys and judge who has the fittest physique #theholepackage #anyholesagoal".

The boys got a bit anxious about their "packages" and raced to the bedroom to heat their nether regions up with some hairdryers.

With all of the boys concealed behind a wall filled with conveniently placed holes, the girls took  turns to step forward to cop a feel of each of the boys’ prize muscular assets, before rating their top three.

For the winning boy, there was an opportunity to get steamy with the girl of their choice, with the winner’s text reading: “As a reward for winning top bod in the villa you get to take the girl of your choice and a bottle of bubbly over to the hot tub #DoubletheBubbles #WetandWild".

Sam came in last with Dom, Jonny and Kem coming after him.

Harley came third, Marcel came in second place and the winner was new boy Chris.

Hunky Chris chose Chloe to enjoy some champagne and bubbles with him on a sexy date.

Things went so well on Chris and Chloe's date that they ended up snogging in the garden.

Chloe even climbed on top of him on the garden chairs as they enjoyed a cheeky snog. Is a new couple on the cards?

A re-coupling is happening on Friday night and one boy will be sent home.

Despite losing the vote, Sam also got to take a girl on a date and picked Olivia and the pair ended up snogging as they watched the sunset.

Elsewhere, the other newbie, Jonny Mitchell, has his eye firmly set on Amber although he doesn't want to step on Kem's toes - with the Essex lad having already kissed her.

He told the petite beauty: “As I told you last night, you are obviously my type but I didn’t realise I was sitting next to Kem when I said it. It was a bit awkward. But I know that you two have got something going on. I think it’s quite early doors for me anyway, but I think he’s quite a nice geezer. I’m not here to make trouble, if everyone’s consensually happy."

However, she tried to reassure him, saying: “I think what you need to remember though is that it’s day four, it’s not week four. I want to reassure you my basket’s open, do you know what I mean? It’s an open game right now.”

Kem told the lads how he thinks he's falling hard for Amber and was confident he would beat Jonny to her heart.

Speaking about his rival, he said: “He’s not as good looking as me, simple as that. I’ve got better chat, I’ve got better game, I’m a better looking geezer.”
