David Beckham begged son Brooklyn not to get a tattoo after he lied to his dad about getting one
The former footballer FaceTimed his son during a trip to Paris to persuade him not to go ahead
DAVID Beckham begged son Brooklyn not to have his first tattoo done—because he wanted to be there to experience the moment.
The footy hunk, 42, appeared on James Corden’s Late Late Show where he revealed the youngster had lied to him about a visit to a tattoo shop during a trip to Paris just days before his 18th birthday.
He revealed: “He was counting the days down because he was talking about a tattoo for a long time.
“Four days before he was with his girlfriend in Paris and one of my friends who was looking after him called me and said ‘It’s not come from me but Brooklyn is in a tattoo shop with his girlfriend.’”
The meddling dad then got about contacting his son in a bid to get him to change his mind.

Becks added: “He always promised me and I said if you have your first tattoo I want to be there just to experience it.
“That was the deal. My friend said you should call him so I facetimed him and said ‘what you doing mate’ and he said ‘we are just going for dinner’ and I said ‘are you sure?’.”
Beck made the revelation as he appeared on the British version of James’ Late Late Show filmed in London last night.
He took part in a hilarious skit with James Corden where he tried out for Bond, with James dressed in drag.
He continued: “He [Brooklyn] said ‘actually dad I am in a tattoo place thinking of getting something and I’m with my girlfriend.
"I said ‘you are welcome to have it but remember you promised me and I am your dad and I would feel really upset if you went through with it’.
“So he didn’t.”
