The past seven days have seen Marcel - also known as Rocky B/Plat'num - slowly reveal the news to other contenders in the villa and it appears he's been taking viewers on a trip down memory lane as they flock to Spotify to listen to the band's biggest hits.

On Sunday night's show, Marcel left Dom shocked when he said: "No obviously I used to be in the Blazin' Squad when I was a kid. Dom, how could you not know bruv?"

Taking to the Beach Hut, Dom gushed: "Marcel was part of the Blazin’ Squad! I didn’t know! I just thought he was an absolute boss anyway, but now he’s just a bigger boss!"

Blazin' Squad stormed into the charts in 2002 with their hit crossroads.

The ten-piece London band had seven hits in the Top 10 before one by one they slowly disappeared from the spotlight.

However, Marcel's appearance on the dating show Blazin' Squad's streams rise by 2,500 per cent.

Before entering the house, Marcel admitted he still has fond memories of his time in the group as he admitted: “They were the best days of my life – people do still recognise me when I’m out.

“People the majority of the time want a selfie. I think I look really different these days, though. I feel like I’ve got much better looking!”
