Who is Dan Wootton and where is he from?
Dan Wootton was born in Lower Hutt, the seventh most populous city in New Zealand, on March 2, 1983.
He obtained a degree in Media Studies and Political Science from Victoria University.
Dan began his career as a showbiz journalist at local paper The Dominion Post, writing an entertainment column and also working as a reporter on daily TV show, Good Morning.
He moved to the UK aged 21 and carved up an impressive career on Fleet Street.
Dan joined The News Of The World team in 2007 and soon became the showbiz editor.
He then went on to become the editor-at-large for Now magazine in 2011 before joining The Sun newspaper in 2013.
Dan is also a three-time winner of Showbiz Reporter of the Year at the British Press Awards.
