Ex Love Island star Rykard Jenkins says Jessica Shears will win the 2017 series

The fitness fanatic says glamour model Jessica is playing a game and does not really like Dominic - but has backed her to win

LOVE Island star Jessica Shears will win the series, according to former contestant Rykard Jenkins.

The fitness fanatic reckons the glamour model does not fancy Dominic Lever and is playing the game because she is a “winner”.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said only his pal and ex villa-mate Terry Walsh, 28, would be able to tame her.

Devon girl Jessica, 24, and Dominic, 26, are currently coupled up and were the first to romp on the current series.

In recent episodes she said she is “really falling” for the Manchester lad.

And Rykard, 25, who is still with Rachel Fenton, 24, who he met in the last series, has chosen her to win the series - but says needs to play it “subtle” to come out on top.

He said: “Jess is a winner - all she needs to do is hold it back, be a bit subtle.

“She’s a beautiful woman. As long as doesn’t become a maneater, she’ll win.

“She doesn’t fancy Dom. If I’m being honest with you, the only man that could get Jess is Terry. Terry is Jess’s type and Jess is Terry’s type.

“If Terry went back in right now, she would drop every man and get with Terry.”

Despite Rykard’s prediction, bookmaker Paddy Power has Prince Harry’s former flame Camilla Thurlow, 27, to win the series at 10/11.

She is still favourite even after her emotional fallout with Jonny Mitchell, 26, following a disagreement on feminism.

Jessica is third favourite at 4/1 with surprise package Gabrielle Allen, 25, who paired up with ex Blazin’ Squad man Marcel Somerville, 31, at second with odds of 7/2.

Ibiza Weekender star Rykard says the public love Jessica because she has a personality people can relate to.

But he warned we may not have seen the winners yet.

He said: “Jess is a good girl, she will stand the test of time.

“As long as she’s not a bitch she’ll be fine. If she makes snakey movements the public will turn on her.

“As the audience we’re thinking we know what we get from her.

“The bombshells will win it. A winner has a very spunky personality that resonates with the audience - one you can relate to.”

The Sun revealed Jessica had a secret romance with reality star Calum Best.

And a sex tape of her with Bianca Gascoigne’s former lover Rogan O’Connor was released as well as a video of her flashing her crotch to YouTuber JMX.

Paddy Power has Marcel, Dominic and Kem Cetinay, 21, all joint favourite to win in the boys category at 5/2.

Spokesman for the bookies Lee Price said: “Wow, Camilla’s been attracting more bets than Chris has had date requests. Though that’s probably about all the pair have in common.

“But the real question here is do you like polar bears? Because, at this rate, we’ll have to freeze the betting on Chris, who has slipped into icy waters with his recent antics.

“With all the romping going on, we hope they’re using protection – else we could soon be welcoming a Love (Island) Child.”
