Shamed ex-Labour MP Simon Danczuk lined up to appear on Celebrity Big Brother after talks with Channel 5 bosses
TV bosses are keen to bag the former Labour MP for this summer's show following his fall from grace in political circles
SHAMED MP Simon Danczuk could swap the House of Commons for the Big Brother house.
Channel 5 are in talks for him to star in this summer’s celebrity show.
A source said: “He’s delighted by the interest but is in two minds.
“It could change people’s opinion of him for the better. But he’s also thinking about stepping away from the public eye.”
Dad-of-four Danczuk, 50, was suspended from Labour in 2015 after The Sun told how he sent explicit messages to a girl, 17.

He stood as an independent in Rochdale after being banned from standing under the Labour Party but got just 883 votes. He had now called time on his Parliamentary career.
Danczuk, whose engagement to 31-year-old care worker Charlene Meade ended last month, is said to be still mulling the deal over.
If he decides the sign up for the show, the former MP will join Ab Fab’s Helen Lederer and Gogglebox’s Sandi Bogle.
This year's programme includes a tantalising twist – with housemates coming face to face with their ex-lovers on the show.
