ANT and wife Lisa have been together 23 years but have faced a heartbreaking struggle to start a family.
Speaking in 2013, Ant said: “We’d love to have kids. We’re trying. It’s tougher than you think when you get a bit older.”
The interview came two years before pal Dec wed Ali Astall and Ant added: “There’s a rumour we (Ant and Dec) do everything together and that I’m holding off having kids till Dec finds himself Mrs Right.
"I love that idea, but I’m afraid it’s not true.”
Asked again this year about having kids, Ant said: “We would love to have a family so fingers crossed. If we’re blessed with children, then we’d be over the moon!”
