To celebrate, here's our list of the top ten blockbusters available with Sky Cinema over the summer, and all the things you didn't know you didn't know about them.
The Secret Life of Pets
The Secret Life of Pets features a Red-Tailed Hawk named Tiberius. You might recognise his voice as the voice of Nemo's Dad, Marlin, from Disney's Finding Nemo & Disney's Finding Dory!
Bridget Jones' Baby
Fun fact: The scenes set at the music festival in this movie were actually shot in the winter.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Rogue One was one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year, but did you know that inspiration for the story came from The Dam Busters?
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
It's the first film set in the Harry Potter Universe outside of the franchise. Each actor in this film playing a witch or wizard was allowed to design their own wand.
Deadpool
This box office hit stars Ryan Reynolds, who has reportedly said that he will not play any other comic book characters. Of course, he'll be playing Deadpool in the upcoming sequel, though!
Deadpool, available now on Sky Cinema
Suicide Squad
This one isn't so child-friendly! So much so, that an on-set therapist was employed to help the actors deal with the dark and tormenting nature of the film.
Disney-Pixar's Finding Dory
Finding Dory was one of the most anticipated sequels of all time, after Finding Nemo stole our hearts in 2003. Did you know that the animators of the film all studied the psychology of adoption to understand how Dory would adjust to her new life and the mystery of her past.
Disney's The Jungle Book
It's been a big year for live action Disney remakes! Mowgli is the main character in the movies we know and love, but in the collection of stories the movies are based on, he appears in less than half of the story!
Captain America: Civil War
It's a popular one for sure. Captain America: Civil War received Marvel's best opening weekend for a non-Avengers movie.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
You might want to watch Ben Affleck as Batman in this movie, but his daughters don't! Ben told Jimmy Fallon in 2013 that his daughters didn't care about his upcoming appearance, 'all they want to watch is Frozen.'
