LOVE Island fans were thrilled when newbie Tyla Carr decided to couple up with Dominic Lever.
The news came just 24 hours after The Sun Online revealed Dom's partner Jessica Shears had slept with Mike Thalassitis after being evicted.
There were nerves all round during the re-coupling, as the girls worried Tyla would steal one of the boys from them.
But Tyla eventually chose Dom, telling the group: “He’s been so lovely to me since I came in.”
The pair had got off to a rocky start, when Tyla told Dom how Jess had been flirting with Mike after they were evicted.
But they later made their peace and became firm friends.
After watching Tyla pick Dom out of all the boys, fans took to Twitter to share their delight.
The newcomers had both been the talk of the villa all day – with many of the islanders fearing one of them would steal their partners.
After admitting she fancied Camilla Thurlow’s partner Jonny Mitchell, and Olivia Attwood’s lover Chris Hughes, the girls were panicking who Tyla might choose.
Tyla's fellow newbie Simon Searles also played it safe after Kem Cetinay started obsessing over whether the 28-year-old would try and steal Amber from him.

The Essex boy breathed a sigh of relief as Amber remained as his partner after Simon picked Montana.
Fans of the ITV2 dating show were over the moon at his choice, as Montana had been without a bloke.
One tweeted: “I really hope it works between Simon and Montana.”
Another wrote: “I can’t wait to see Montana and simon get to know each other and blossom beautifully.”
Simon and Montana and Tyla and Dom are now all safe from the next dumping.
The remaining islanders, bar Sam Gowland, remained in their existing couples.
However, as the episode came to a close it seemed there was drama ahead for Kem and Amber - as their relationship becomes strained.
It comes after Kem admitted that Amber was stopping him from being himself on the show.
He told Dom in tonight's episode: “The way Tyla came in and she was a little bit cute and a little bit ditzy and didn’t take herself too seriously reminded me of how I am.
“It really hit home with me yesterday that I haven’t been the Kem that I know I am and I’ve just been holding back and feeling like I have to just say everything to keep Amber happy all the time and it’s not healthy.”
- Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
