Ryan Reynolds gets back into character as superhuman ‘testicle with teeth’ as he films Deadpool 2
Star is spotted in full make-up and in his famous red suit for action-packed scenes complete with fake rain on set in Vancouver
RYAN Reynolds has jumped back into character as suited "testicle with teeth" Deadpool on the set of the 2016 flick's upcoming sequel.
The 40-year-old actor was seen in full superhuman make-up on set in Vancouver, Canada - and even his feet were given the special effects treatment to make him look like "the stuff of nightmares".
After chatting to a stunt double, Ryan shot a scene where the "Merc with a Mouth" is chased down an alley by a gang, before jumping into a cab.
The taxi is driven by Dopinder, played by Karan Soni in the first film, who seems to be a firm ally of Deadpool's.
Fake rain was also falling at one point, though Deadpool seemed to have lost his trusty hoodie at that stage and got soaked through.
This new movie, subtitled Love Machine, is being made on a much bigger budget than the first, with far bigger names attached.
Both Josh Brolin and Hugh Jackman are starring alongside Reynolds, with the latter playing Deadpool's X-Men nemesis Wolverine.
Brolin, meanwhile, is playing the movie's other main hero character Cable, a time-travelling soldier trying to correct the future.
He recently posted a revealing Instagram snap from behind the scenes suggesting half his face will be animated using blue screen technology.
Brolin captioned the snap: "Insanity on the brink. Face is morphing into something machine, fierce, hair sliced, arm machined, bulged.

"Where is Deadpool?!? Looking. Looking. All I got are these two...moulding me, prodding, turning me into something hard," he added, referring to the make-up artists next to him.
Deadpool 2 is due out in 2018 with Jack Kesy, Zazie Beetz and Shioli Kutsuna rounding off the list of new stars coming on board.
