GAIL Porter has revealed she didn't get paid for any of her lads' mag photoshoots back in the 1990s.
The presenter, who was declared bankrupt earlier this year, famously posed nude on the cover of FHM in 1999.
Speaking to , Gail, 46, said she'd "save money" when asked if she'd do anything differently in her life.
She said: “I’d still do the lads’ mags – I had a great a**e – but I’d ask for cash up front as I never got paid to do any of them.
“The FHM I was in was one of the biggest-selling, so there must have been a bit of money off my a**e.
“I was quite proud of myself. Those pictures weren’t filthy and I didn’t think they were offensive at all, though everybody else seemed to."
The nude picture of Gail was even beamed onto the Houses Of Parliament leading to more notoriety.
Gail found fame and fortune back in the 1990s as a children's TV presenter, fronting Top Of The Pops, The Big Breakfast and Live & Kicking.
But work offers began dwindling when she lost her hair 12 years ago.
Speaking on Loose Women: "That was about six years ago and that was the start of it because you can't pay your bills because a doctor is looking after you.
"I didn't open the bills, I just put them away. I'd had a breakdown, I'd lost my mum... so I put them under a pillow."
Managing a smile she added: "If kids at home are watching, that is not a good idea!"
She continued: "It piles up really, really quickly, my problem was I ran away from everything and it gets really worse.
"I don't have a huge amount of bills and I did enough that I couldn't pay.
She also admitted to finding herself homeless at one point and having to sleep on a park bench.
Gail said: "I had to make my bed on a park bench, it was ages and ages ago, I couldn't afford anything, I slept on a bench in Hampstead Heath."
