Love Island’s Dom Lever says he’s DONE with Jess Shears if she admits to having SEX with Mike Thalassitis
LOVE Island's Dominic Lever has revealed he wants nothing to do with Jessica Shears if she admits to cheating on him with Mike Thalassitis just hours after they left the villa.
Dom said he "knew" Mike would "try it on" with Jess but admitted he was "gutted" when he heard the news that they had slept together.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed Jess and Mike had sex in a hotel room just hours after being dumped from the ITV2 reality show.
A clip also emerged of Jess telling Mike: "Lets go back and f**k" as they hugged after being told they had been given the boot.
Dom, 26, was dumped from the show tonight after a shock re-coupling saw Montana Brown choose new boy Alex instead of sticking with him.
Now he's out of the villa, Dom is determined to confront Jess and Mike about what happened.
When asked by the Sun Online if he would still pursue a relationship with Jess if she admits to her tryst with Mike, he said: "No, no way."
" I don't think I would make a go of it. I would stay friends with her because we've been on a pretty epic journey together but if that's happened then I suppose everything I thought was special just wasn't to her.
"I want to speak to both of them. Jess is my priority and then once I've spoken to her, I'll contact mike and meet up with him at some point."
However, Dom is so confused about the situation that he also admitted he could see them getting engaged IF the pair manage to sort things out.
He said: "I fell in love with her. Jess and I were on a really good run. If it carries on like that outside the villa then I do see myself proposing."
Dom said he knew Mike would "try it on" with Jess but said he was "gutted" when he found out they'd slept together.
He said: "I don't think there's a way to describe how I felt. I was sickened, and I was stuck in the villa so I couldn't talk to her.
"Mike had no loyalty to me and they when they left together I thought, 'I wouldn't put it past the guy to crack onto her' but I couldn't believe it.
"It was a big hit, it took me a few days to get over her leaving and then the news about Mike came in so it took me about five days to really start to embrace the situation and enjoy my time in the villa."
However, the Mancunian said he "doesn't regret not leaving with her" after she ended up bedding Mike when they left.
He said: "When her name got read out I wanted to leave with her, there was no point in me being in there.
"But then she said 'Stay and enjoy it, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and I need you to look after Olivia'. Me and Liv are best mates and she was going to leave to but Jess told her to stay for me.
"I stayed for her because she was struggling with the boys at the time but now she's comfortable enough with Chris."
Despite getting kicked out of the villa, Dom says he's "buzzing" for Montana now she's coupled up with Alex.
"If I hadn't picked Montana, I would have chosen Amelia. She's only 18 but she's one of the most mature girls in there and me and her got on the most."
Could another post-villa relationship be on the cards? We'll have to wait and see.
- Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
