Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell isn’t a millionaire – his watches are ‘fake’, the £78,000 car is his dad’s and his flat is ‘rented from Airbnb’
JONNY Mitchell’s glamorous lifestyle is not all that it seems – as the Love Island star fakes his fortune with rented apartments and knock-off designer watches.
The reality hunk appears to enjoy a luxurious life but sources reveal his brand new car belongs to his dad and photos from his lavish holidays are years old.
Pals close to the star have exposed the truth behind his Instagram profile, which portrays Jonny as an A-list jet setter with heaps of cash to his name.
A source said: “Jonny isn’t a millionaire. His Instagram profile isn’t a true representation of his life.
“The white Mercedes-Benz pictured on his page belongs to his dad and the apartment is rented from Airbnb.
“He posts a lot of ‘throwback’ pictures from exotic holidays which gives the impression that he’s always abroad.
“But in reality the snaps are taken from a few holidays that he spent with his ex-girlfriend.
“Most of his designer watches are fakes, he barely works and the majority of his time is spent in the gym.”
But a source confirmed to The Sun that he's only travelled in First Class once.
Jonny’s lifestyle may appear flash, but official documents reveal his own companies have failed to generate major profits.
One business, Shopaeon Limited, reported losses of £9,554 last year, while his other business JM Care (Essex) Ltd is currently in the process of being wound up after suffering similar misfortunes.

Its most recent accounts saw profits of just £363, with a loss of £8,849 the year before.
But he does retain a 24 per cent stake in his father’s successful care homes business, which made profits of £219,280 last year – with Jonny’s share of that worth a tidy £52,627.
Jonny has chosen not to discuss his background with the rest of his islanders though some viewers have still slammed Jonny’s latest love interest Tyla Carr for only being interested in his bank balance.
