ITV2 producers forced to cut sexy scenes from Love Island as couples are at it TOO MUCH with randy pair Amber and Kem romping 12 TIMES
RANDY Love Island stars are having so much sex producers are having to cut the raunchy footage.
Despite the show’s aim of putting a group of single lads and girls in a villa and encouraging them to pair up, there are now fears viewers are tuning in to see only one thing.
Amber Davies, 20, and Kem Cetinay, 21, are the lustiest couple, romping 12 times in the reality series’ first few weeks. But only three have been broadcast.
Dom Lever revealed he and Jess Shears, both 24, had got it on eight times before they were dumped from the show. But viewers saw only one session.
A show insider said: “Some couples can’t stop having sex and are going at it almost every night.
“Producers are being ultra-careful not to let sex become the focus of the show so have refrained from airing saucy scenes.
“Countless sex sessions have been left on the cutting room floor over fears they could be seen to be sensationalising sex if it’s on every night.”
Last week student Montana Brown, 21, bedded Alex Beattie, 22. Montana later boasted of a 20-minute session to her co-stars, telling them: “I got some last night, I just went on top.”
But the revelation came as a complete surprise to viewers, who did not get to see a second of the action.
In another scene not broadcast, Olivia Attwood, 26, performed a sex act on partner Chris Hughes, 24, under the covers in the bedroom.
The couple split in last night’s episode.
MORE FROM THE VILLA
Saucy scenes have helped push the show’s ratings to record levels for its third series.
A Love Island spokeswoman said: “The show isn’t about sex, it’s about following the couples’ journeys.
"We only show moments of intimacy when we feel it is important to a couple’s story.”
