They were luring girls using Calum’s name and “getting off on it”, according to a source close to him.
The son of football legend George slammed the unknown con man for emailing and calling them, saying it is “disgusting”.
He went on to say it tarnished his name and the victims’.
Calum, 36, told the Sun’s Bizarre column: “It’s disgusting that someone can do this.
“It tarnishes my name not to mention the others he conned.”
He initially tweeted Gmail saying the account was “sending inappropriate picture/videos of his privates” and told it to take action.
And he contacted the Metropolitan Police in a bid to put a stop to the sexual images.
The son of football legend George also apologised to fans on his Instagram, saying: “Apologies to anyone who had received calls or emails.”
On Twitter, Calum said: “Dear Gmail, I’m reporting [email protected]. He is impersonating me sending, inappropriate picture/videos of his privates. Please take action.”
A source told us the fraudster would “get off” on the conversations he was having women when using Calum’s name.
They said: “This guy was just gross.
“He would lure girls and was getting off on it and was using Calum’s name.
“There were exchanges and they would write back and he’s lure them and the guy would write back. There was some really gross stuff. It’s really distasteful.”
Calum recently signed up for Celebs Go Dating after splitting from Playboy model Lindsey Pelas.
And the Sun revealed he once dated Love Island babe Jessica Shears.
