Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell admits he ISN’T a millionaire and doesn’t remember the last day he worked – as he refuses to deny having sex with Tyla Carr
LOVE Island hunk Jonny Mitchell has confirmed he ISN’T a millionaire businessman – and admits he can’t even remember the last time he did a day’s work.
The reality star, 26, confessed to cheating on his ex-fiancée, which came as “no surprise” to her family – and doesn’t deny having sex with Tyla Carr inside the villa.
Jonny’s “wealthy” background became a talking point among the islanders in the villa and fans at home, with the reality star glamourising his lifestyle on social media.
But The Sun’s Bizarre column revealed the star fakes his fortune by uploading photographs from rented apartments, buying knock-off designer watches and posing with his dad’s luxury car.
And a source told how he regularly posts snaps of previous holidays to create the illusion of being abroad more often than he really is.
Confirming our story in an interview following his exit, he said: “I’m not a businessman. I haven’t worked for over a year. My dad owns a few businesses.
“I left the country with my ex-fiancée to start a business with her but then the relationship finished and I got a free pass to enjoy myself for a couple of years.
“I don’t want to get into my finances. I am not struggling – put it that way.”
Jonny and Tyla received the fewest votes from the public and had to decide between themselves who should leave in tonight’s shock dumping.
And there was not a dry eye at the villa as Jonny put himself forward to save his ex Tyla from getting the boot.
Now he’s opened up about their romance – hinting that viewers may not have seen the full extent of their intimacy.
The pair spent several nights together while living in the show’s villa, but were not seen having sex on screen.
And Jonny did little to dispel suspicions that there was more to the romance than an innocent kiss.
He said: “Can I not answer that? Am I under contract to answer? I will leave it to your imagination. A gentleman never tells.
MORE FROM THE VILLA
“I’ve got my fingers crossed that we can continue that romantically.
“If Tyla doesn’t pursue anything in the villa then I will be waiting for her when she gets out.
“She isn’t my girlfriend – I’ll be fine with her moving on but if she doesn’t I’ll welcome her back with open arms.”
The Essex boy parted ways with his fiancée Lauren Baxter just months before their wedding – and confesses to cheating on his ex after their five-year romance “fizzled out.”
Showing no remorse for his wrongdoing he said: “I was with her for five years we were at a stage where she wanted to have kids and move back to the UK and then I cheated on her.
“The relationship had fizzled out – it wasn’t a big surprise that I cheated.”
