‘Deadpool’ congratulates Wonder Woman for smashing US Box Office milestone with cheeky Instagram post

RYAN Reynolds won over fans across the globe after he shared a sweet post congratulating Wonder Woman on surpassing Deadpool's US box office earnings.
While the films are from rivals comic franchises, the actor and team Deadpool chose to show some love to those involved in Wonder Woman's incredible success.
Following rave reviews from fans and critics alike, Wonder Woman has officially surpassed Deadpool's domestic box office of $363 million.
The celebrated superhero flick has now reached an impressive $368 million and counting since its release in June.
Canadian hunk Ryan posted a snap of Deadpool wearing a Wonder Woman medallion and making a love heart over it with his hands.
He cheekily captioned the image: "The Merc May Be Filthier, but Her B.O. is Stronger. Congrats #WonderWoman #BoxOfficeBoss."
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman follows Diana, princess of the Amazons has been raised on an island, Themiscyra, and trained to be an unbeatable fighter.
An American pilot crashes onto her island and tells her about a world war that is happening.
Diana (played by Gal Gadot) decides to leave her home, and try to stop the war.
She becomes the hero Wonder Woman with her famous lasso, and fights to save lives as she comes up against the mysterious villain, Doctor Poison.
According to, Deadpool hauled in a $783 million gross globally, and Wonder Woman could soon break overtake it as it's already at $746 million.

Wonder Woman's had the best domestic gross of any DC Extended Universe film and the second best global gross.
Meanwhile Ryan has been busy filming the sequel to Deadpool, subtitled Love Machine.
This new movie is being made on a much bigger budget than the first, with far bigger names attached.
Both Josh Brolin and Hugh Jackman are starring alongside Reynolds, with the latter playing Deadpool’s X-Men nemesis Wolverine.
Brolin, meanwhile, is playing the movie’s other main hero character Cable, a time-travelling soldier trying to correct the future.
