Sleeping with Jools might not be the best way to woo Debbie back, but when your name is Ross Barton, it’s the art of living dangerously that is half of the appeal. But how far is too far when it comes to pushing Debbie’s buttons?
“Debbie and Ross are spending a lot of time together, so some of those feelings that she put to the back of her mind are starting to return,” says Charley Webb, who plays the businesswoman.
“Debbie can’t get rid of Ross and I’m not sure she wants to. But the stupid side of Ross – when he tries to be annoying and charming – doesn’t wash with her. It’s the other side she’s attracted to.”
It’s his stupidity that comes to the fore when Ross tries to wind Debbie up about Jools wanting to book
The Woolpack for a party. But the barmaid sees straight through him.
The party goes ahead and Jools’ never-before-mentioned husband turns up – just as his wife decides to spend some, er, quality time in the toilets with Ross!
“No one even knew Jools was married,” admits Charley. “So it comes as a bit of a shock when her husband suddenly turns up!”
Hubby Roger proves more than a match for Ross as they get into a fight that spills into the road. But as Debbie tends to his wounds afterwards, is that old spark about to be reignited?
“Debbie and Ross can be quite good together,” teases Charley. “Sometimes, you have to follow your heart...”

Cheating Pete gets exposed
If Priya wasn’t feeling guilty enough about doing the dirty on her best mate with Pete, the arrival of Take A Vow’s brochure with Leyla looking every inch the bride as she models that wedding dress should do it.
Priya sounds out Leyla’s true feelings for Pete and she admits to her ‘pal’ that she’d jump at the chance if he ever actually got round to proposing.
Then when a wedding is cancelled at the last minute, Tracy suggests Leyla grab the opportunity and pop
the question herself.
As Pete thinks on his answer and discusses it with Priya, there’s an even bigger problem for the cheating couple – the fact that Nell has just overheard every word they’ve said...
Stay Away Paddy
With Pierce’s court case approaching and everything hanging in the balance, Rhona and Paddy are struggling to know what to do for the best.
Understandably vulnerable, Rhona is disappointed when Paddy leaves her at home alone and hugs him goodbye, but Marlon spots it and alarm bells start to ring.
Worse is to come when DC Osborne then shows up with photos of Rhona and Paddy embracing.
Could their closeness play right into Pierce’s hands?
And how will Rhona cope with the fact that Vanessa, Marlon and Jimmy have now all been called as witnesses?
