Piers Morgan attempts to humiliate Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell with embarrassing knowledge test
PIERS Morgan left Love Island hunk Jonny Mitchell squirming in his seat as he grilled his general knowledge during an embarrassing pop quiz on today's Good Morning Britain.
The reality TV star urged the outspoken host to "move on" as he fired off a maths question followed up by a politics mind-boggler.
Londoner Piers - who has previously confessed his sheer dislike of the racy reality show - started off on today's ITV show by questioning: "Jonny what's 11 times 15?"
Co-host Susanna, who in stark contrast is an avid show fan, chipped in: "That's not the reason he's in Love Island, it's because of his good looks."
Getting a tad red-faced and flustered Jonny replied: "Maths isn't my strong point, so don't put me on the spot!"
Yet not letting things lie, Piers insisted he "have a guess" at the answer, to which he offered "160".
Piers replied: "Not bad its 165," and immediately fired off: "Who is the Chancellor of Germany?"
After a spot of stumbling Jonny pleaded: "Come on, lets move on."
He then got a spot of praise from persistent Piers when he got the answer right.
But the third mind-teaser which Piers posed - about the value of maths symbol Pie - was shut down completely, with a frustrated Jonny bluntly saying: "Absolutely not."

Yet Jonny - who recently admitted he had faked being a millionaire - got his own back at the end of the chat.
Talking of the show, where he hooked up with model Tyla Carr, he told him: "It makes good TV - lighten up a bit Piers.
"I feel like it's just entertainment really. it's not everyone's cup of tea, obviously."
Meanwhile fans were quiz to slam Piers on Twitter for his unorthodox interview.
One wrote: "Where does @piersmorgan get off by trying to show someone up by their lack of knowledge?! Abhorrent, shameful behaviour."
Another put: "Despite being averse to Love Island, I think Piers Morgan was so patronising to Jonny on GMB..." while a third tagged Piers in their message and posted: "You're so disrespectful."
