LOVE Island's Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood have awkwardly discovered they have very different attitudes when it comes to babies.

In tonight's task the islanders are each handed a plastic baby doll so they can be tested on their parenting skills.

But while Chris relishes the chance to be a dad, it seems motherhood is not for Olivia.

Emotional Chris gets all choked up when handed his baby doll - who Olivia names Cash - and even confesses to "shedding a tear" over the prospect of being a father.

“I think this morning he has already brought out an emotional side in me,” he says.
“With Olivia, we have stopped the mishaps we’ve had together and we’ve got to focus on the baby now, because ultimately he is our main responsibility."

Olivia, however, isn't enjoying the task quite as much.

Just fours after being handed their doll, she declares: "I have been a mum for a whole four hours and I'm done with it."

It's the latest snag to hit the couple, who have endured a rocky romance since they first hooked up in the villa.

They briefly split after multiple rows and came back together just before Mike Thalassitis re-entered the villa to shake things up again.

Olivia admitted feeling torn between the two men and although she decided to stick with Chris, Mike still managed to cause a divide when it emerged Olivia had told the islanders she'd sleep with Mike in the hideaway if nobody found out.

Naturally Chris was livid when he found out but Olivia insisted it had been said in jest when she and Chris were broken up.

But Mike warned Chris to be wary of Olivia in a candid chat before his elimination.

He told Chris: "I’m ain’t trying to put no s*** in your head or anything, but be careful mate.

“Personally, she’s not someone I would associate with."

There was even more drama between Olivia and Chris last night, when she slammed Chris's choice of questions for her lie detector test - which included whether or not she really told Mike she'd like to sleep with him.

Olivia truthfully answered no - as she told the other islanders, not Mike - and said she'd been in love with Chris two days ago, but following their latest rows, she wasn't in love any longer.

Meanwhile, the arrival of plastic babies to the villa tonight gets all the couples thinking about the future.

Montana Brown tells Alex Beattie she wants to have his kids, while Camilla Thurlow confesses that watching Marcel Somerville playing dad has made her broody.

But some of the islanders may need a little more practice at being parents as Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies and Sam Gowland and Georgia Harrison are scolded for leaving their fake babies out in the sunshine with no sun cream and arguing over names.

For one couple, the baby task will be their final challenge in the villa as two islanders will be dumped tonight.

Viewers have been voting for their favourite couple and the duo with the fewest number of votes will get their marching orders.

It will no doubt come as a blow to the departing couple as there are only six days left until the finale.

Love Island's prize money is £50,000 for the winning couple.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
