Is Anne Robinson presenting?
‘Queen of mean’ Anne Robinson confirmed her return saying: “I’ve been chatting to the BBC controller of Entertainment who has had the idea of reviving the show.
“Who knows? I’m a bit on the old side for television and I can’t bake cakes. But I’m quite good at marinating my tongue in acid.”
Anne was loved for her witty retorts and for her delivery of the iconic saying, “You are the weakest link, goodbye.”
How does the quiz show work?
A group of usually nine contestants work as team to win as much money as they can by creating a chain of correct answers.
If a person gets a question wrong while the chain of money is growing then it breaks and they have to start all over again.
Howeve, if a contestant says “bank” before their question, then they money gets saved and the chain starts again.
