Lydia Bright finds love with hunky car mechanic a year after final split from ex James Argent
She confirmed the new romance by sharing a picture of the pair kissing
LYDIA Bright has gone public with her new relationship as she finally moves on from her ex James Argent.
The ex Towie star - who dated Arg on and off for years before finally splitting in 2016 - is dating hunky car garage owner Lee Cronin.
She revealed the happy news with a cheeky picture of the pair kissing on her Instagram page as she celebrated his 31st birthday.
"Sunday funday with all my favourite people," she wrote next to the romantic picture.
"Happy birthday my [love]," she added of Lee.
The official announcement comes just weeks after Lydia revealed she is dating again.
She first started dating Arg when she was a teen but the on-off pair broke up in February last year.
They ended up getting back together again but split for good in May, 2016.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, who left the ITVBe show earlier this year, struggled to walk away from her man for good after their on/off romance continued for almost a decade.
It was later revealed that the pair had a one night stand during Towie filming in Spain last summer after their break-up.
But fans later found out that Arg also slept with Lydia's mate Gemma Collins during the trip to Marbella.
Lydia is now finally putting the doomed romance behind her by striking up a new relationship with hunky Chris.
Lydia may be dating again, but she recently insisted she is not ready to start a family like some of her former Towie co-stars.
Her friend Ferne McCann is pregnant and more recently Sam Faiers, confirmed she is having a second child.
Lydia told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “I'm dating but nothing serious. I'm not ready for a baby.
“I think when you're with someone and you’re settled you think about it. But I'm not ready at the moment.
“I think when you meet with the right person you get broody.”
Lydia admitted she couldn’t believe Sam is pregnant again but reckons she had a feeling the mum would have a second baby.
She said: “I think I had a feeling as well from watching her show and that she wanted to have another baby.”
Meanwhile Arg, 29, is still single and has signed up for the new series of Celebs Go Dating along with fellow Towie star Bobby Norris and Calum Best.
