They have been the most solid couple in the Love Island villa over the course of the past two months and tonight Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen came fourth in the grand final.
The couple, who were the only finalists not to have sex in the villa, told Caroline Flack they could not wait to 'do the deed.'
Caroline Flack showed Marcel clips of him infamously telling the rest of the villa he used to be in Blazin' squad before tackling serious questions about when he snogged another girl in Casa Amor.
"I lost my head it was such a stressful time," he told Caroline. "I made a mistake and I do regret it."
Earlier in the show, Gabby complained about Marcel's enthusiasm as they practised the Tango together, saying: “Marcel just kept thrusting. I’m like ‘mate, you’re definitely sexually frustrated.”
In a more romantic moment, the pair declared their feelings for each other with Marcel referencing the couple's "first kiss" and the "smaller moments that mean so much to me."
He told her: "Whether it’s the moments like our first kiss on the steps, or your faith in my return from Casa Amor, and how beautiful you looked when I returned back to the villa.
"You looked stunning. By that point, I knew I was falling for you.”
Meanwhile, Gabby said she felt excited and "confident" for their future and said: "It’s been a long time coming but right now I’m especially excited for you to Flip Reverse it.
"You’re a dream come true, and I love you.”
But like everyone in the villa, the duo have experienced their own fair share of rocky moments.
Along with legions of fans, contestants Montana Brown and Sam Gowland began questioning Gabby's true intentions towards Marcel last week after she failed a lie detector test when asked if she loved him.
Gabby attempted to repair some of the damage by getting her fellow islanders to spell out 'I love you' on the lawn.

The couple were also left reeling after the explosive Twitter challenge where the islanders read out a fan tweet which speculated they were in a "fake relationship."
A fuming Gabby told the Beach Hut. "I’d deserve an Oscar if I was faking it. I know that me and Marcel are rock solid so think what you like love."
Then there was a rather lacklustre kiss between the pair at the villa's glitter party which fans took as a sign that Gabby was just not into her man.
And during the striptease challenge, a heart rate monitor revealed Gabby had preferred Theo Campbell’s performance to her boyfriend’s – with her heart rate going sky high when the athlete stripped off.
The couple faced further tests when the boys were dispatched to Casa Amour and a bevvy of beauties and temptations.
Marcel ended up snogging another girl twice in a challenge which enraged Gabby when she found out.
The boys had been living with five new recruits and the girls received a postcard featuring a picture of Kem and Chyna kissing, and Marcel, Jonny and Chris in bed with other girls.
Venting in the beach hut afterwards, Gabby fumed: "Once his mistake, twice my mistake. I feel like an idiot."
In happier moments, they successfully managed to look after a 'fake baby' for the day, while Gabby spoke touchingly about their "old fashioned" relationship.
She said: “I just think because we have such deep feelings without having sex means so much and it almost means more.
“I feel like we got to know each other in a different way and we’ve actually fallen in love with each other before having sex.
“I feel like an old traditional couple.”
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies eventually walked away with the £50,000 prize.
Viewers looked on in shock as Caroline Flack announced a shock twist - meaning Essex hairdresser Kem could have stolen the money.
However he gave Amber her fairytale ending and admitted he would split the cash with her.
