IT was definitely third man lucky for Love Island's Camilla Thurlow as she and hunky Calvin Klein model made it to second place on tonight's final.
The couple lost out to Kem and Amber who shared the £50,000 prize fund after their victory.
But they seemed optimistic for the future during an interview with Caroline Flack before the result was announced.
Camilla told Caroline about her time in the house: "It's a an indescribable feeling as I had no idea what was to come.
"As although there's been ups and downs, I couldn't ask for a better summer and it's changed my life."
Jamie added he and his new love couldn't wait to get out and spend time alone outside the villa:
He said "We clicked and we're the same person. I couldn't have expected how well we'd get on."
Despite her famous shyness, Camilla teased her feelings for Jamie earlier on in tonight's show when she told the girls: "I have not felt this way about someone for a really really long time."
And in their declarations to each other, Camilla revealed she had despaired of ever finding love on the show.
She said: “Jamie, at the time that you arrived in the villa, I thought my romantic journey on Love
Island was over.
"I truly believe there is not a single other person who could have walked in the door to make me change my mind.
"I’m humbled on a daily basis by your ability to bring out the best in others and since you have been in the villa I have been."
Jamie opted for a more cryptic approach saying: "When you come to my mind it’s so easy to think of the amazing ways in which to describe you.
"This may seem like a contradiction but the most endearing thing about you is you’re exactly that.
"The amazing contradictions in your character that make you so special.”
Her coupling with newbie Jamie was something of a turnaround for Camilla who suffered heartbreak early on when Jonny Mitchell dumped her in favour of model Tyla Carr.
Camilla - an explosive ordnance disposal worker - was left in tears as the Essex boy snogged Tyla just minutes after he gave her the boot.
Her spirits were raised by new entrant Craig Lawson, who boosted her ego before coming on too strong, and she had to put the brakes on.
Things got a little steamier following Jamie's entrance with the couple having sex, with Camilla telling Montana Jamie 'put it in last night.'
Camilla also hinted she'd given Jamie oral sex, telling Gabby: “I’ve been a bit naughty, if you know what I mean?”
more from the villa
The couple had a bit of a wobble when Camilla was revealed to be lying that she thought she and Jamie's compatibility during the infamous lie detector challenge.
In a crisis of confidence, it emerged that she believed she "wasn't good enough" for the hunk.
But things quickly got back on track with the pair enjoying a magical La La Land themed date.
Camilla came into the villa famous for her royal connections, although she played coy when asked if she copped off with Prince Harry.
