Love Island winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies reveal all about romps too raunchy for TV in first interview
LOVE Island champs Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay told today of the romps too raunchy to screen — including pool sex under a blow-up turtle.
The red-hot couple — whose steamy romps helped draw record viewing figures for the ITV2 show — also said they are now ready to settle down and revealed plans to wed.
Kem, who has never had a serious girlfriend, said: “That is my intention. Amber is my first girlfriend. I’ve always said I would never have a girlfriend if I was half-hearted.
“When I look at my relationship with Amber, I look at it as something there’s no end to it. It can go all the way.”
Amber added: “Yeah me too, 100 per cent. I’ve been in relationships before and it’s literally been a shambles.
"I went on Love Island to find love.”
Hairdresser Kem, 21, from Essex, and 20-year-old dancer Amber, from North Wales, fired up their romance with a string of raunchy encounters on the series.
In their only interview since being crowned winners, they told how they had sex in the pool under a blow-up turtle during a birthday party.
They also romped during the day, on a sofa and even had their sights on a wardrobe — before working out it was too small.
Amber told The Sun: “It was true that we had sex in the house more than any couple. Why not?”
Kem added with a wink: “We was at it like rabbits.”
Amber admitted: “My mum didn’t want me to have sex on TV, but I never ruled anything out.
“If you fancy someone and you’ve got that sexual chemistry, it’s a natural thing. By the end everyone was doing it.”
Kem added: “We’re so, like, full on and open — we were always going to click and connect quicker than anyone else.
“For us, we couldn’t stop talking to each other, we couldn’t stop looking at each other all the time.”
One sofa romp was in front of two other contestants. Kem recalled: “We thought, let’s just give it a go. It’s better in that room because there’s no one else in there.”
Amber interrupted, saying: “Actually, no, Tyla and Johnny were in there. Who cares?”

They were also the only couple to have sex during broad daylight.
Kem said: “One day we was just chilling and it was overcast and we wasn’t sunbathing.”
Turning to Amber, he went on: “I was sitting there and I was just thinking to myself . . . I think I just gave you the look and you knew.
“Then we went inside and we was just chilling.
"We thought we were going to go to sleep but we didn’t end up sleeping.”
Amber smiled then said: “No, we didn’t.”
The couple also made love in the villa’s pool as Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Camilla Thurlow celebrated her birthday.
Kem explained: “Everyone was on floats. We didn’t have one so we were just chilling in the pool.
“We can’t keep our hands off each other.”
Amber said: “We had a big floaty turtle over our heads.
"I think we ruined Camilla’s birthday.”
Kem laughed: “We was hiding under the turtle.
“Camilla saw us and just went, ‘Oh my God’.”
A bathroom ban meant a shower tryst was out of the question, but Amber confessed: “We did have a look at the slidey wardrobes.”
Kem added: “We tried to have a look. We was always up for experimenting.”
They denied claims they had unprotected sex in the villa — or that they used performance- boosting drugs like randy Islander Mike Thalassitis.
Amber insisted: “We always had protection. But Kem absolutely does not need Viagra.”
Kem quickly confirmed: “Oh my God, I definitely do not. We know what we’re doing with that type of thing.”
Kem claimed he is still “fuming” that during the show’s infamous lie detector test, Amber said the best sex of her life had not been with him.
He said: “Oh my God, she just doesn’t back me.”
But Amber responded: “I do back you. Maybe after tonight — we have a hotel room tonight.”
An average audience of 2.6 million tuned in to the show live, with viewers watching later pushing the figure up to four million.
Hundreds of fans had joined photographers waiting at Stansted Airport, Essex, by the time they touched down with the six other finalists yesterday.
The loved-up couple are planning to live separately for now — Kem with his parents in Essex and Amber in her North London flat.
Kem said: “That little bit of space will make us miss each other so much because in the villa it’s so intense.”
But he added: “We will stay round each other’s house I think pretty much most days if we get the opportunity.”
He continued: “For me, family is such a big thing and it means so much.
"And after meeting Amber’s family I could just tell she had been brought up so well, by such nice parents and that meant a lot.”
Kem has the backing of his entire family, including his 80-year-old grandmother from Cyprus who turned up to the airport to meet Amber.
He said: “When she come in and see Amber she was just crying, she was so happy.”
Amber said: “She’s asked me to go to Cyprus.”
There are rumours ITV bosses are interested in a reality show following Kem and Amber.
Amber said: “We would do it.”
Kem added: “I think we would be entertaining. It would be good — we would be like the next Gavin and Stacey.”
The pair are still wearing the pink and turquoise infinity bracelets Kem made to mark the start of their relationship 12 days after first meeting.
Kem said: “It was when we got our heads round the fact that this could be something special so we just dropped all the barriers, gave it a go and it changed our lives completely.
“We didn’t realise how much we needed each other and how much we connected.
“I wouldn’t have been able to do this without her and she wouldn’t have been able to do this without me.”
Amber said: “I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else now.”
