Love Island’s Camilla relieved fling with Prince Harry didn’t work out – as she’s ‘very happy with Jamie’

PRINCE Harry’s ex Camilla Thurlow is relieved her fling with the royal did not work out — now that she’s dating Calvin Klein model Jamie Jewitt.

The Love Island finalist, 28, who finished runner-up this series, is happy she’s finally had the chance to move on from her romance with Harry by starring on the dating show.

She said: “I didn’t want my past relationships in the spotlight to upset having a future with someone. I am very happy with Jamie right now.

“It is nice that something that has happened in the past is in the past – I’ve had an opportunity to show people the person I am.”

Jamie, 27, insists he isn’t bothered that his lover once dated royalty and wasn’t at all surprised to learn that Camilla had relations with the prince.

He said: “As much as Prince Harry is an impressive human being, I am not going to be intimidated by him.

“I wasn’t at all shocked to hear she dated Prince Harry – Camilla is a very classy lady. It is her past and everyone has a past.”

Camilla gave into her urges by having sex on Love Island – just weeks after she swore she would never do it on TV.

But she has no regrets and insists that she was true to herself on the dating show.

She said: “I’m only human. Things were moving forward with Jamie as they would do in the real world.

“I was in there and I was true to myself and I was happy do that with Jamie – I have no regrets.

“The thought did cross my mind that having sex on TV would upset my work opportunities in the real world.

“But I wasn’t going to dwell on something that I couldn’t change and wouldn’t change.

"I wanted to do that for me at the right time – I didn’t think of what anyone else was doing.

“I have to admit my grandma may have skipped that episode though.”
