Love Island’s Marcel jokes about his tan after fans of the show spotted his disappearing tattoos
MARCEL Somerville joked with fans about his deep tan as he continues to enjoy a return to normal life outside the villa.
Fans of the Blazin' Squad star - who came fourth with girlfriend Gabby Allen - had already spotted how much the music producer had caught the sun just three weeks into his time on the show.
And Marcel couldn't resist making a comment about his darker skin tone when he spotted his old promotional shots in ITV's London office.
The handsome rapper quipped: "What a difference a villa makes!!! Def caught a tan".
And fans loved the comment and added their thoughts as one wrote: "check the skin colour difference.
Another added: "I didn't even know he had tattoos."
One commented: "I can't get over how the tattoos 'disappeared' 😂"
Another fan jokingly changed the lyrics of J Hus' hit track, Did You See and wrote: "Did u see what marce done came as a brown man left as a black one".
At the start of the month, fans began to share before and after pictures of Marcel to show how much his tattoos had begun to disappear into his tanned skin.
Pictures of Marcel before going onto the hit ITV2 dating show revealed his enormous chest tattoo which reads: “Passion, Ambition and Belief.”
The Londonder also has a large tattoo of a “female Hercules” on his arm which he dedicated to his mum and his grandparents.
But after watching the show, one viewer pointed out how Marcel’s tattoos had completely vanished and then hundreds of fans have took to social media to comment about it
One fan tweeted: “I didn’t even know he had tattoos!”
Another commented: “OMFG they've fully disappeared!!!!! Mental.”
A third wrote next to the pictures online: “Marcel had a chest tattoo...right?”
Marcel regularly updates his Instagram followers with his body art.
In 2014 he decided to have his chest tattoo inked on by a local artist, telling his followers the words were the three he lived his life by.
Two months ago, the singer added a sleeve to his impressive collection and told his fans it was dedicated to his family.
After sitting in the tattooists chair for two and a half hours, Marcel said: “Im in love with the girl in my tattoo!!
“Dedicated to my nans and mother 💪. My tattooist @nataliarosebutler is a talent!!! Love it.”
