Love Island’s Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever finally meet their parents – as they slam Piers Morgan following his criticism of the show

LOVE Island’s Dominic Shears met girlfriend Jessica Shear’s parents last night – after she had briefly met his mum.
The couple also hit back at Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan following his repeated criticism of the ITV2 show.
Devon girl Jess, 24, told the Sun’s Bizarre column her parents already approve of the hunk.
And despite her reportedly sleeping with fellow islander Mike Thalassitis, 24, a source insisted they have been "solid" since they reunited.
Speaking at the Spectrum x Mean Girls: Burn Book launch party, she said: “My mum and dad adore him already so he’s an easy one. They approve.
“I’ve met his mum. It was quick as we were in a rush and we didn’t have time to for the whole family to be there. At some point hopefully we will go for a meal.
“I’m looking forward to taking him to a little village in Devon where no one knows who we are.”
Manchester man Dom, 26, says he was not worried about meeting her folks as he has been plastered all over television and has “done nothing wrong”.
He said: “They’ve had the best trial because they’ve seen it all on TV.

“They must like me, I’ve done nothing wrong.
“If you’re ever worried about who your daughter is dating, get her to go on Love Island and you’ll see.”
And following recent comments by GMB’s Piers Morgan criticising the show, the ‘power couple’ hit back saying his opinion does not matter.
The outspoken presenter says the show is full of idiots and has grilled islanders like Jonny Mitchell when he tried to humiliate him.
Dom said: “Highest rated show ITV2’s ever done. 2.9 million people like it so what does it matter what he thinks.
“But any press is good press. If Piers Morgan is talking about it, clearly it’s relevant.”
