Towie’s Megan McKenna is reunited with Pete Wicks after spending a month apart while filming her new TV show in Nashville
PETE Wicks showed he missed girlfriend Megan McKenna a whole bunch - as he welcomed her home after a month away with a giant bouquet of flowers.
Towie star Megan had been filming her new reality series There's Something About Megan in the US city of Nashville but is now back on home soil after wrapping the show.
Minutes after arriving back in Essex, 24-year-old Megan - who will be seen on TV launching a country music career - was soon greeted at her door by her beau Pete, who was clutching a whopping bunch of white lilies and roses.
Dressed in a Nashville hoodie, grey jogging bottoms and flipflops, Megan looked delighted as he handed them over.
The 28-year-old reality star, dubbed Pete The Pirate, was also able to reunite Megan with her beloved pet dog Daisy.
Megan later tweeted: “When you get back to Essex and @p_wicks01 has bought me the whole flower shop and my baby daisy.”
Following their emotional reunion, Pete was seen helping to unload Megan's car, which was filled to the brim with luggage.
Along with several suitcases and holdalls, Megan also appeared to be returning back to the UK with her very own Gibson guitar.
Hauling it into her flat, it was yet another glimpse that Megan's aim to break the country music scene may have been a success.
Previously, we revealed how Megan wowed crowds in Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe - where Taylor Swift launched her career.
Meanwhile, the couple were also snapped carrying Waitrose bags, filled with food, into Megan's flat.
Megan flew out to Nashville at the beginning of July, before getting straight to work by shooting scenes for her spin-off show.
ITVBe has since confirmed There's Something About Megan will air this autumn, tweeting: "She’s a country girl at heart. See @Megan_McKenna_ as you’ve never seen her before in #SomethingAboutMegan this Autumn on @ITVBe."
However, although she is excited about her new TV show, travelling Stateside to film it has taken its toll.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, Megan tweeted: "This Jet lag is killing me.... 4.30 am and I've watched about 5 hours of Tv and spring cleaned my whole kitchen."
She added: "Can hear the birds tweeting... worst feeling."
Megan's new venture across the pond came just days after she rekindled her relationship with on-off beau Pete.
Now the couple are madly in love again, with Megan telling Pete how much she missed him in an emotional Instagram post earlier this month.
