Love Island spoiler: First look at Love Island reunion show as the stars head home to meet each other’s parents
LOVE Island fans have been given their first look at this weekend's reunion show as the final four couples return home to meet each other's families.
Following Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies scooping the big £50,000 winners' prize on Monday night, the couples all returned to the UK to film one final episode for the 2017 series as they visited each other's hometowns.
Viewers have been given a sneak peek at Sunday night's sure-to-be emotional episode, including Kem taking Amber back to Essex and showing her around his hairdressing salon.
The 21-year-old can be seen snapping a photo of dancer Amber, 20, sitting in a chair at the salon.
They have also popped to Amber's hometown in Denbigh, North Wales where they were treated to a brand new bed courtesy of Amber's mum Sue, who said the current single bed in Amber's childhood room just wouldn't do.
Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, meanwhile, have been in Dumfries, Scotland visiting her family.
A preview photo shows the Love Island runners up sitting down to a cosy family meal, complete with a celebratory bottle of champagne.
Elsewhere, this year's third-placed couple, Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood, have taken a trip to Chris' family's farm in Gloucestershire.
Swapping her bikini and shades for a simple hoodie and pink wellies, model Olivia looks the picture of happiness as she stands next to her man in field of cows.
“He finally got me to the farm," she joked.
The final couple, Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen, can be seen cuddled up in bed in their preview picture, catching up on all the Love Island gossip from when they were in the villa.
A copy of The Sun can be seen lying on their swanky double bed, alongside several well-thumbed magazines.
And in a funny nod to Marcel's Blazin' Squad roots, Gabby is wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase: "I used to be in Blazin' Squad."
They finished in fourth place during Monday night's finale.
They travelled to Gabby's hometown in Liverpool to meet with her family, before going back to London to hang out with Marcel's loved ones.
Marcel and Gabby famously made a pact not to have sex in the villa - but more than made up for it when the cameras stopped rolling.
Gabby exclusively told The Sun Online: "We had sex last night after the wrap party. We were in a villa with no cameras so we flip reversed it.
“It was amazing. It definitely lived up to expectations. I was glad I waited.
“I would rather have got out and it be absolutely banging than us be underneath the covers trying not to get caught.”
While Love Island fans are no doubt looking forward to Sunday night's reunion show, it will be a bittersweet episode for many viewers who still can't face the fact the show has ended.
This summer's Love Island scored huge viewing figures and its finale episode was ITV2's most-watched show ever, with an average audience of 2.6 million tuning in.
It was double the number that watched Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey win last year.
MORE FROM THE VILLA
It may not be the last we see of certain islanders, however, as The Sun Online exclusively revealed this week how ITV wants BFFs Kem and Chris to front their own reality show.
A source said: “Chris and Kem’s friendship has captured the nation – everyone has loved watching the bond they have together," said an insider.
“Viewers have even called for the pair to be eligible to win this series as a twosome.
“Bosses don’t want to see an end to their bromance and are already brainstorming possible TV show ideas to pitch for when Love Island is over.
“Fans won’t be seeing the end of them just yet.”
The Sun Online also broke the news that top music execs have approached the boys about a possible record deal, believing them to be the 'next Ant & Dec'.
“They will be releasing a single.
“Fans have fallen in love with them on the show and the boys want to make the most of their musical talents.
“It’s definitely not the last you’ll see of Kem and Chris.”
Love Island's reunion airs Sunday at 9pm on ITV2
