Love Island’s Mike and Tyla refuse to speak to each other as they split just one week after vowing to give it a go – as he sets his sights on Caroline Flack

LOVE Island's Tyla Carr and 'Muggy' Mike Thalassitis have split just ONE WEEK after vowing to give their romance a go - as he turns his attentions to Caroline Flack.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that the former couple aren't even on speaking terms anymore and went to great lengths to avoid each other at Sunday night's Love Island reunion party.
An onlooker told us: "Tyla and Mike didn't speak once at the reunion party.
"Even though she looked beautiful in a white dress and was attracting loads of male attention, Mike stayed away from her all night.
"Everybody noticed they didn't make any contact at all, which was strange considering Tyla had only said the previous week that she wanted to give things with Mike a chance.
"It was really noticeable that they weren't on good terms anymore.
"Tyla then told pals that she was pretty mad because Mike had ditched her so he could pursue other girls - including Caroline.
"She wasn't that happy to find out Mike's been sending flirty messages to Caroline."
The insider added: "Tyla also admitted that because it was such early days with Mike, she wasn't really that emotionally invested in him.
"It was pretty clear she was feeling disappointed but not heartbroken.
"She had been genuine when she spoke about wanting to pursue a romance with Mike, but when he said he wanted to date other girls, that was a deal breaker for her as she wants a real relationship.
"But she's a stunning girl - she'll have no problem attracting guys."
Signs of trouble were evident when Tyla, 23, and Mike, 24, were seen during the Love Island live reunion sitting on opposite sides of the studio.
Even Love Island host Caroline, 37, noticed the gulf and made a joke about it while asking what had happened between them.
"We don't make the seating arrangements," replied Mike, looking a bit uncomfortable.
FROM THE VILLA
Their appearance at the Love Island reunion party came as The Sun revealed Mike had exchanged numbers with Caroline and been sending "very flirtatious" messages to her.
They'd previously raised eyebrows by looking cosy in social media snaps despite Mike's links to Tyla, however an insider said it's unlikely anything will ever happen between them.
A source said: “Caroline is a very flirty person in general, which obviously Mike lapped up.
“It’s unlikely their chemistry will ever lead to a date but there’s certainly a spark between them."
It was a shock to Tyla who had made no secret of wanting to see how things went with Mike on the outside, after they struck up a steamy romance in the villa.
When she and Mike were dumped from the show together, she had said: "There is definitely potential for the future, I hope and I am very excited to see where things will go.”
Mike responded: "Yeah what she said.”
The Sun Online exclusively revealed how Tyla and Mike had sex just hours after their dumping.
An insider said: "Mike and Tyla had sex at the first opportunity they could, and were all over each other as soon as they got back to the hotel.
“There’s a lot of attraction between them – after having to share a bed in the villa and not have sex, there had been a huge build up of sexual tension and after a few drinks one thing led to another.
"Tyla has made no secret of her feelings for Mike – he’s the one she always wanted and and she really wants to take things further."
A later appearance on Love Island: Aftersun saw Mike admitting that although he wasn't quite ready to make it official with Tyla, he did feel close to her.
"I'm not ten years old," he said.
"I don't make someone my girlfriend after a week of knowing them," he explained. "But I've definitely got closer with you than I have a lot of girls in the last couple of years. You've definitely made my time in here better."
When Tyla asked if he was open to a "future" with her, he replied: "Yeah."
Tyla continued to insist she wanted to give things a go with Mike even when a leaked message he sent to pals boasted of taking Viagra into the villa and wanting to ditch Tyla in order to "do bits" with other girls.
She said Mike had apologised and she was still keen to explore a future.
"It's been a massive shock and thing for me to deal with," she said.
"But I do want to get to know [Mike] more. We've said we do want to go on a date. He has explained himself and apologised profusely to me."
Mike's leaked message read: "I'm not really going to go there with [Tyla]. She's fit. I thought she was one of the best looking in there but I want to do bits when I get out."
He said: "That conversation was just a guy talking to another guy - lad chat. You do end up talking s**t in those chats.
"I do regret saying that as obviously that wasn't very respectful to Tyla."
A source told The Sun Online last month: "Mike is a young lad and he’s said although Tyla is an incredibly beautiful woman, he’s got plenty of offers on the table from other girls and he wants to take full advantage of that for now.
"He’s had so much female attention since Love Island and he’s certainly not looking to stay faithful to one girl.”
