Celebrity Big Brother’s Shaun Williamson reveals dramatic results of hair transplant
SHAUN Williamson had a hair transplant before heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The former EastEnders actor delighted fans by joining the latest line-up of famous faces on the Channel 5 show last night.
But eagle-eyed viewers noticed something was different about the 51-year-old, and it has since been revealed he had a series of confidence-boosting hair transplants before heading into the house.
reports Shaun had two surgeries - which involved 3400 painstaking grafts and almost 8000 hairs - at the Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester.
He told the publication: "Very slowly my new hair started to grow through, it was such a gradual and natural process that people who saw me regularly didn't even notice."
Shaun added how he hopes his openness about the procedure will help other men who are going through the same thing.
He said: "You don't have to suffer in silence, there really is a cure.
"I'm delighted with it. I feel it has given me greater versatility as an actor.
"I don't want to be stuck with a 'short, fat, bald' tag forever."
Shaun started his hair transplants after he left EastEnders - where he played Barry Evans - in 2004.

The actor looked dapper in a blue suit and open necked white shirt as he entered the Celebrity Big Brother house during last night's launch.
Shaun was previously married to Melanie Jane Sacre in 1997 who he met while they were both taking part in amateur dramatics production – but have since divorced in secret.
The have two children Sophie and Joseph.
Shaun has since found love with 40-year-old Adele, who lives with him at his home in Maidstone, Kent.
They met in 2014 and he popped the question on February 12 this year.
Sharing his happy news with friends on Facebook, he wrote: “Today I asked my Baby girl to be my Wife and she said….. YES!!!!!”
