Five months pregnant Ferne McCann shows off her baby bump in tight gym gear during workout session

PREGNANT Towie star Ferne McCann has defied expectations once again by completing a brutal workout in tight black gym gear in her latest Instagram video.

The reality star, who is five months pregnant, proudly showed off her "glutes and back" workout which she maintains on a bi-weekly basis, as she boasted of "toning that booty".

The 26-year-old reality star, who is pregnant by her ex Arthur Collins, indulged in some weight training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) during her gym session.

She claims to have been doing this twice a week since the beginning of the year, adding "[I] didn't want to just stop when I found out I was pregnant."

The star also revealed she attends a yoga class for pregnant women once a week.

Healthy Ferne, who is due to give birth in early 2018, has just returned from a Spanish holiday where she showed off her growing bump in a bright orange bikini.

Since finding out she was expecting in April she has not been shy about showing off her changing form in swimwear, lapping up positive comments from fans on social media by doing so.

Before her intense gym appointment this week, Ferne found time to attend an Ann Summers launch party alongside pals Vicky Pattison and Lauren Goodger.

Pregnancy has been a turbulent ride for Ferne to say the least, as she found out baby daddy Arthur had been arrested in relation to an acid attack just before finding out she was pregnant.

But Ferne has stayed strong, and former Geordie Shore star Vicky has voiced her support too, saying: “She looks amazing, she really suits being pregnant.

“Ferne is the strongest and sassiest woman I’ve met and she's taking everything in her stride...

"She's very strong and she's very realistic - she knows that her priority now is herself and her baby and she’s doing everything she can," Vicky added.

Whether Ferne will make an appearance in the next series of Towie remains to be seen but we know she has reunited with some of her cast mates after they voiced their disapproval of her romance with Collins.
