Sarah Harding ‘spends time with professionals and away from other housemates’ as she struggles with pressure of Celebrity Big Brother house
I HAD worries as soon as I heard that SARAH HARDING was competing in Celebrity Big Brother.
But just a week after she entered the house, things are already much worse than even I feared.
Since the troubled GIRLS ALOUD singer suffered a meltdown on Sunday she has been given daily consultations behind the scenes with the show’s professionals, including a psychiatrist, and is given space to unwind if she needs it.
A show insider revealed: “Sarah is not in a great state. She’s not coping with the pressure and she’s paranoid about what everyone thinks of her.
“She’s been spending time talking to the professional team and is being given time away from the other housemates.
“She is finding it tough living with so many other people because she usually lives alone.
"No one wants her to walk out so it’s about trying to get her through these difficult times.
"There are real concerns, they don’t want to push her too far.”
In the past Sarah has admitted battles with the booze, and since she entered the house viewers have seen her start drinking again.
In Monday night’s episode she broke down in tears after being nominated by housemate PAUL DANAN for Tuesday’s first eviction.

She later confronted him, shouting: “Stop acting psycho, Paul. You’re a hypocrite.”
Sarah has also had to admit she has lost touch with most of her Girls Aloud bandmates.
Last night she told housemate DEREK ACORAH: “It’s so hard to catch up with any of them, really.
"Everyone has got their own thing going on.”
In an exclusive interview before entering the house, Sarah said she keeps to “a glass of wine at lunch” rather than having wild nights out.
She predicted of her time in CBB: “I won’t be drinking much, I’d like to keep a level head, stay sane and avoid dramas.”
A spokeswoman for the show said last night: “Big Brother constantly monitors housemates and their behaviour.”
I just hope she is getting the help she needs.
Comic Amy Mayer be the one for John
TAYLOR SWIFT, KATY PERRY and JENNIFER ANISTON are all among superstar JOHN MAYER’s famous exes.
But the US singer’s previous high-profile fails haven’t put him off – as he is now growing close to comedian AMY SCHUMER.
I can reveal the pair have been going on secret dates over the past few months after she split from her boyfriend Ben Hanisch in May.
Amy and Ben, a furniture designer from Chicago, had been in a relationship for almost two years.
A source close to the Trainwreck actress said: “Amy and John have been friends for years but they have been growing closer over the past few months.
“They are both completely down to earth, and that’s why they get on so well.
“It is early days but they have been on a few dates and she even shared a photo of themselves on Instagram last month after they attended a comedy gig together.
"John is in the middle of a world tour and she is filming, which has made it hard for them to see each other.
“But they are talking a lot and have been flirting on Instagram. They are definitely having fun.”
John is one of my favourite artists of all time and is undoubtedly one of the most skilled musicians around.
Combined with Amy’s ability to make people laugh, they could be one of the most talented couples going.
Moz back to Marr
MORRISSEY is temporarily out of moping mode – to back a new album by THE SMITHS.
The moody frontman, dubbed Moz, is to join forces with old bandmate JOHNNY MARR to endorse a new version of their 1986 album The Queen Is Dead.
Neither have performed together since the band split 30 years ago.
Morrissey defended his decision to reunite for the special occasion because even “an abnormally scientific genius would approve” of the album.
Johnny said of the iconic record: “The Queen Is Dead was epic to make and epic to live.”
The album will be re-released in October and feature new live tracks and alternative versions.
Good job? Of gusset is
KATE BECKINSALE has red carpet glamour down to a tee in the Big Apple – thanks to her trusty helpers.
She shared this behind-the-scenes snap on Instagram yesterday as she prepared for the premiere of her film The Only Living Boy in New York.
And the actress joked about her stylist “fiddling around with my gusset”.
Her latest hot look comes amid reports she’s split from her toyboy, comic Matt Rife, after just a handful of dates.
James rolls with it
JAMES CORDEN was clearly devastated by LIAM GALLAGHER saying he’d rather die than take part in Carpool Karaoke – not.
The Late Late Show host looked in his element joined by his pregnant wife Julia at the launch party for Apple Music’s version of his hugely successful feature in West Hollywood on Monday.
Also at the bash was model HAILEY BALDWIN, ex-NBA player SHAQUILLE O’NEAL and GARY BARLOW.
TAKE THAT joined James as passengers for Red Nose Day this year, following in the footsteps of big names including MICHELLE OBAMA, HARRY STYLES, LADY GAGA and MARIAH CAREY.
It comes after Liam called James a “kn*bhead” when asked in an interview for this month’s edition of GQ mag about appearing in the passenger seat with the hugely successful presenter.
Sounds like the OASIS man is feeling left out.

Stern chat
NEVER one to bite her tongue, SHARON OSBOURNE’s chat with America’s “shock jock” DJ HOWARD STERN was always going to be explosive.
She joined his radio show on Monday to talk about her life and return to The X Factor.
But she went off topic as she labelled London a hotbed of “cocaine and booze”.
Mentoring the Girls this year, Sharon, who now lives in LA, said of Britain: “I was surprised how much they drink and how much coke still goes on in London. It is unbelievable.”
Despite a wild past, Sharon now shuns heavy partying, fearing people will see her as “an old drunk”.
And she agreed when Stern said: “It’s an epidemic with the executives doing it, and in London in show business it is rife and has been since the Seventies.”
Sharon has spent 35 years married to hellraiser OZZY OSBOURNE, so things here really must be bad.
