Debbie's dales delight

Ex EastEnders star Ned Porteous set to turn Debbie Dingle’s head in Emmerdale along with ANOTHER new hunky suitor

The Dales beauty will have not one but two men prick her interest in the coming months - but where will that leave her and on-off lover Ross Barton?

DEBBIE Dingle is set to have her head turned by two hunky new suitors on Emmerdale - and one will be particularly familiar to soap fans.

Actor Ned Porteous has joined the ITV soap as Tom Waterhouse a businessman who is a potential new client for Debbie and mum Charity Dingle's luxury car hire business.

However eagle-eyed soap fans will recognise Ned for his stint on EastEnders last year as Mark Fowler Junior.

Ned is joined on the soap by his character's right hand man, Graham Foster, played by actor Andrew Scarborough.

The mother and daughter duo are desperate to clinch the deal with the two men to keep their car business afloat, with Debbie in particular keen to make a good impression.

The pair get glammed up as they vie to secure the contract, with Charity meeting Graham in a hotel bar before Debbie arrives soon after, and appears to make the right impression.

Things look to be on course for the family until they leave the hotel, and in a surprising turn, Debbie's fragile finances are suddenly left hanging by a thread.

Emmerdale viewers will have to wait and see if Debbie has got herself in over her head with the new deal, but as sparks fly between her and hunky newcomer Tom, could he be more than just the answer to her financial woes?

Regular Dales viewers will also wonder what her new suitor's arrival means for her on-off relationship with bad boy Ross Barton.

Speaking of his new role, Ned - who played Mark Fowler Jnr for 13 episodes in August last year  - said: "I was really delighted to secure the role of Tom.

"I’ve never played a character like this before and I am very excited to see how his story develops!”

Meanwhile Andrew, who plays Tom’s front man Graham added: “Graham is an interesting guy.

"He’s a bit enigmatic but he definitely has hidden depths, which I can’t wait to explore and he’s fiercely loyal to his boss Tom.

"I see Graham as a man a little like Alfred, the butler in Batman.”

The two actors have already started filming their scenes and will be seen on screen from September.
