Celebrity Big Brother’s Sam Thompson admits he has feelings for Amelia Lily but ‘baggage’ and ‘showmance’ fears are holding him back

CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Sam Thompson has confessed he has feelings for Amelia Lily – but there is a lot holding him back.

Having a heart-to-heart in the kitchen with Paul Danan, the Made In Chelsea star, 24, revealed why he hasn’t made his feelings for the 22-year-old singer clear yet.

He said: “I’ve been so slow about everything to do with me and Amelia.

“The point is, I don’t want a showmance.

“I didn’t come in here looking for someone like Amelia.

“She’s not the girl that you get with in here, she’s the girl you leave and you take for dinner.

“I’ve got baggage, no one knows the amount of baggage I have.”

Sam’s “baggage” is his MIC co-star Tiff Watson who he had been in a long-term relationship with that ended shortly before entering the house, and Sam has declared many times that he’s not yet ready to jump into a new relationship so soon.

Later in the kitchen, Ameila says to Sam: “You’re so funny, I feel like you go dead shy around me.”

He replied: “I’m not very confident in these situations, I never know what to say.”

This comes after last night’s episode in which Amelia revealed she’s a “dark horse” in the bedroom.

During a chat with Sam and Jemma Lucy while sunbathing she admitted she does have a wilder side behind closed doors.

After she blushed about saying she wasn't wet, Jemma joked: "Have you even had sex?"

Laughing, she cried: "Yes I have! Plenty of times!"

Sam - who has been quite open about his feelings for Amelia - joked: "A whole five times."

Amelia replied: "Nah I'm just one of these people who like, what goes on in the bedroom stays in the bedroom.

"I don't go out and talk about it."

Continuing his flirty banter, Sam said: "I bet you are such a dark horse in the bedroom."

With a smirk she replied: "Yeah, I've been told that!" and as the trio laughed she added: "It's always the quiet ones!"
