Actress is enjoying some well-earned downtime after a her gruelling filming schedule for Our Girl wrapped
MICHELLE Keegan looked happy and relaxed as she settled down for lunch with Mark Wright and her parents.
Since coming back from South Africa where she’s been filming for Our Girl last month, the 30-year-old has been enjoying some time off.
After taking on the role of Lance Corporal Georgie Lane in the hit BBC series last year, Michelle has spent large stretches of time abroad – making time with her loved ones all the more important.
And she couldn’t stop smiling while she soaked up the sun as the UK enjoyed yet another heatwave.
Michelle went make up free for the day out with Mark and her parents, and opted for a pair of pretty floral trousers which she wore with a black vest top.
She covered her eyes with enormous sunglasses and let her long hair hand loose over her shoulders.
After their jolly lunch, Mark was spotted carrying two pot plants from the restaurant to a waiting car.
It may soon be all change again for the successful pair, after Mark’s dream of breaking America came true.
The Sun exclusively revealed the former Towie star had landed himself a full time presenting role of US TV show Extra.
The job will see Mark, 30, move to Los Angeles for a year initially to host the show every night, seven times a week.
Mark said: “I feel so honoured to be given a job on such a massive show in America, interviewing the biggest stars in the world, and working alongside Mario Lopez who I watched and loved growing up.
“Lisa G, the boss at EXTRA, didn’t know me before meeting her. I asked for a meeting, and she believed in me from seeing my showreel.
“She gave me a chance by allowing me to interview Mariah Carey and from that she has now given me this amazing opportunity to work on the show full time. It’s all a bit surreal.
“The UK will always be my home, but right now America is the path that has opened up for me, and I have to follow that.”
