Towie’s Amber Dowding reveals she’s been ‘vomiting uncontrollably’ for FOUR WEEKS after shock health scare forced her to miss filming for new series in Marbella
Reality beauty has been secretly battling an illness which has left her suffering with sickness for the past month - and doctors are baffled
AMBER Dowding has opened up about a mystery illness which has left her vomiting uncontrollably for the past month.
The Towie star, who’s dating her co-star Chris Clark, was forced to miss filming in Marbella after being struck down by the sickness, which doctors haven’t yet been able to diagnose.
It’s a worrying time for 24-year-old Amber, who has no idea what’s making her body react in such a debilitating way.
Throughout filming for the hit ITVBE show in Spain, Amber put a brave face on but spent much of her time holed up in her hotel room with Chris by her side.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Amber said: “I’ve been ill since I flew out to Bali last month.
“I don’t feel sick all the time, it comes on in waves. I start gagging and heaving and then I’m sick. Then I’ll be alright for a while before it starts all over again.
“When I flew out to Marbella for Towie I got sick again which was horrible. I didn’t eat much and I didn’t drink any alcohol because it would make me vomit.
“The Towie team took me to hospital for tests, I gave blood and urine samples and they all came back fine.
“I felt anxious because being away from home when you’re ill is horrible. I stayed in the hotel a lot but it wasn’t my own home.
“It comes in waves. One minute and I’m sick and then I’m not. I just want a specialist to give me some answers. I want tests to find out what has happened.”

Amber went to hospital again for tests but they came back as negative – just days before she went out to fulfil her filming commitments with Towie.
Amber said: “Everyone at Towie has been so great and everyone rallied around me.
“My family are worried. Chris and my family always call me drama queen but after seeing me being sick so much and seeing how poorly it makes me, I think they know I’m being serious and they want me checked out.
“Chris has been really good and he’s been taking care of me.”
Now she’s back at home, Amber is waiting to be referred to a specialist by her doctor.
She continued: “There is a history of Irritable Bowel Syndrome in my family.
“My dad had a perforated bowel and he had a colostomy bag fitted – it’s worrying for me because it is hereditary and I want know if that’s happening to me.”
