Who is Julia Chernogorova and what does she do?
The 21-year-old contestant is originally from Kemerovo, Siberia.
She later moved to the UK after meeting her British partner Matt on a holiday in Turkey when she was 17.
With the change of location came a love for GBBO.
It didn't take long for Julia to start dreaming of becoming a contestant herself.
What does Julia like to bake?
The self-taught baker has been working on her talent from a young age.
Since she was at school, she saved up her pocket money to purchase ingredients and utensils.
After becoming gripped on the Great British Bake Off, she has focused her attention on recipes from the UK.

When is Great British Bake Off on channel four?
The Great British Bake Off started on August 29 and continues every Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
The Bake Off was bought by Channel 4 last year amid much controversy, meaning the popular cooking contest moved from the BBC.
There were a few casualties of the move so popular hosts Mel and Sue and much-loved judge Mary Berry won't be appearing on the new series.
Paul Hollywood is now joined on the judging panel by Great British Menu judge Prue Leith.
While the show is now being presented by Sandi Toksvig and funny man Noel Fielding.
