Pregnant Ferne McCann supports her pal Megan McKenna during brunch event at the Towie star’s new restaurant in Essex

Ferne, 27 - who is now nearly six months pregnant - camouflaged her baby bump in a chic all-black outfit paired with giant red earrings.

The reality TV star became estranged from many of her Towie pals during her relationship with alleged attacker Arthur Collins, the father of her baby.

But she was keen to show her support for Megan, 24, whose gluten-free restaurant MCK Grill in Essex has launched a brunch menu.

Megan herself wowed in a leaf-print top and white mini-skirt at the event, looking every inch the stylish businesswoman.

Ferne has now agreed to star in her own reality show about her pregnancy after being bombarded with offers, despite the circumstances of her pregnancy.

Essex native Ferne only found out she was pregnant a day before Arthur was arrested in connection with an acid attack in Dalston, which left two people blinded.

But Ferne - who has visited Arthur in prison - has received huge support from fans, and has been keeping them updated with her tummy growth on Instagram.

Ferne is expected to give birth in November, and has said of the experience so far: "Pregnancy is the nine months of your life when you don't want any stress.

"Obviously I had stress, so I had to learn how to deal with it quickly.

"Loads of women who are pregnant go through stressful experiences, so knowing I'm not the only one meant I could research how other women have coped - and that's by surrounding yourself with people who care about you and love you."

Joining Ferne and Megan at MCK Grill were two other Towie stars - Megan's boyfriend Pete Wicks, 28, and her best pal Amber Turner,  23.

Amber was recently reported to have got back with former lover Dan Edgar during shooting in Marbella.

And Megan has officially reunited with Pete after their huge split and showdown on the last series of Towie.

The 21st series of the show is due to kick of on ITVBe next month with no official air date out yet.
