Mel B’s first husband Jimmy Gulzar blasts the singer for having ‘three children by three different men’ and making him look like ‘the bad guy’
MEL B’s first husband Jimmy Gulzar has slammed his former flame for “making him look like the bad guy” in their relationship breakdown.
Jimmy, 49, is the father to Mel’s eldest child, 18-year-old Phoenix, and has said that people shouldn’t feel sorry for the star during her current divorce battle with husband Stephen Belafonte.
He told “Does she really think all these men are wrong and she isn’t? We are talking about a woman who had three children by three different men.”
Mel and Jimmy first met during his days as a professional dancer, with the pair getting together after he worked as a performer on tour with the Spice Girls.
He claimed that despite him wanting to work on the relationship when it turned sour after two years of marriage, that Mel instructed him to “call in a lawyer” when she decided she was done.
“I was said to be the bad guy – Gold Card Jimmy who couldn’t keep her satisfied. It was horrible, the power of celebrity. What good is cash when you’re emotionally dying?”
Mel later went on to have ten-year-old Angel Iris with comedian Eddie Murphy, and Madison, five, with Stephen Belafonte.
She is now currently embroiled in THREE lawsuits that could set her back millions – and has been reportedly told by her pals to stand down.
Mel — who was once reported to be worth £40million — is currently embroiled in three hugely expensive legal court battles, two with Stephen, 42, and one with their former nanny Lorraine Gilles, 26.
Her friends are said to be worried that her apparent crusade against estranged husband Stephen could wreck her career and leave her ruined financially.
Even a Los Angeles judge this week warned the big-spending former Spice Girl that her legal fees are already in the millions and risk spiralling further out of control.
A pal said: “Mel’s lifestyle has always been pricey, but these legal bills are another level.
“She knows the consequences could be catastrophic if she doesn’t settle, but she’s not used to backing down.
“She is absolutely furious with Stephen and with Lorraine, and is passionately fighting both of them through the courts.
“But she’s playing with fire and seems prepared to put everything on the line to get back at him.”
Sordid secrets about threesomes and the couple’s wild sex life have already surfaced in court and there are fears that more revelations could harm Mel’s career.
The whole situation is putting the 42-year-old under a lot of stress.
This week the cracks showed when she lost it during filming for hit US TV show America’s Got Talent.
