Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle told to ‘quit the show’ by Marnie Simpson and Nathan Henry to look after new baby
GEORDIE Shore cast members say soon-to-be father Gary Beadle should quit the show – as they reveal they still do not know what his future is.
Marnie Simpson, 25, says he “can’t really” do the show as it would not be fair on his girlfriend Emma McVey.
She and Nathan Henry, 25, told the Sun’s Bizarre column Gaz, 29, has not told them if he will stick with the show.
Marnie said: "You can't really be in Geordie Shore - it's not fair on Emma. I understand why he'd leave. He hasn't actually confirmed.
"We didn't know it was going on because him and Emma weren't going out in the series."
The revelation comes after the first episode of the fifteenth series that aired last night on MTV.
Nathan told the Sun they have asked him about whether he is staying on but he always dodges the question.
He admitted he would be sad if Gaz, who has been on the show since 2011 and the first series, did go but does expect him to.
Nathan said: “We don't know what he's doing yet.
"It would make sense for him to leave because he's always wanted to be a dad.
"He's very vague about it.
"If he does go I'll be sad. He's the veteran - he's the dad of the group.
“If he leaves, the main male role is down to me. I may have to step it up - turn straight.”
Gaz revealed the news in an adorable snap on Instagram last week.
He said: “SO SO SO excited to eventually be able to tell you all this... I AM GOING TO BE A DAD... WE ARE HAVING A BABY.."
Emma, 24, and Gary got back together in June after a brief split where she claimed he had cheated on her.
The announcement brought emotional scenes from his ex Charlotte Crosby who broke down in tears on television talking about it.
She had an ectopic pregnancy with her cast mate last year which she say was “life-changing”.
Charlotte, 27, thanked her fans whilst on Ireland AM adding her recent break-up and make-up with boyfriend Stephen Bear, 27, had made her more fragile.
She said: “Honestly I get so overwhelmed by all the support, it's just so amazing. I've gotten so many nice messages over the past couple of days.
“Not only just the situation with Gary but me and Stephen have had some hard times lately as well.
“I just can't even describe how grateful I am for all the support."
