Chanelle Hayes arrives home for the first time since giving birth to her second child
CHANELLE Hayes planted a kiss on her newborn son's head as she arrived home for the first time since giving birth on Tuesday.
The ex Big Brother star looked the picture of bliss and happiness as she protectively cradled the tiny tot in her arms.
The 29-year-old was dressed in comfortable black leggings and matching top, teamed with a knee length brown cardigan.
Her tiny newborn, whose name has not been released yet, was clad in a white babygro and a little knitted cardigan with a hood.
Chanelle was seen arriving back home in a car driven by boyfriend Ryan Oates, who rushed around to hold her car door open for her.
As Ryan carried the newborn's baby seat towards the house, the couple briefly stopped to share a kiss.
Ryan had his hands full with the baby seat in one arm and a clear plastic bag filled with clothing in the other.
Chanelle, meanwhile, held a gift bag and bunch of blue balloons celebrating the arrival of their son.
The brunette star couldn't resist giving her little man a cuddle and, as Ryan opened the front door, she lifted him out of his car seat for a hug.
As Ryan brought their bits and pieces inside, she stood on the doorstep kissing her baby's head.
Chanelle, who also has a six-year-old son, Blakely, from a previous relationship, was snapped struggling to contain a yawn after giving birth just 24 hours before arriving home.
She announced her son's arrival on Wednesday, posting a message to Instagram which read: "Ryan, Blakely and I are absolutely over the moon to announce that the new addition to our little family has arrived safely and in a perfect package on Tuesday 29th August 2017 at 1:34am."
PE teacher Ryan, meanwhile, tweeted: "We are so in love with our beautiful little baby boy, Chanelle, you were incredible. What an amazing feeling, he's just perfect!"
Among the celebs lavishing well wishes on the couple were Maria Fowler and Nicola McLean.
Maria tweeted: "Congratulations to our friends Chanelle and Ryan on the safe arrival of your little one. Can't wait to meet him."
Nicola said: "Congratulations to this fab mum Chanelle on the safe arrival of her and Ryan's baby boy. Can't wait for pics."
The little boy's name has yet to be revealed and no photos of him have been shared with Chanelle's fans so far.
In March, Chanelle exclusively told The Sun Online that she and Ryan had a bought of book of baby names but would be keeping their top choices a secret until the little boy's arrival.
“We’ve got a book with 10,000 baby names in and we still can’t find any. We’re keeping that a secret until the baby is here," she said.
“We don’t know whether we’re going for traditional names or not yet. It’s harder at the moment because we don’t know the sex.
"Once we find out the sex I think we’ll knuckle down.”
Chanelle has been open about the difficulties she faced during her second pregnancy.
As well as having "full-blown anaemia", she was diagnosed with hyperemesis, the same form of serious morning sickness that once plagued The Duchess of Cambridge.
“My hyperemesis has really been wiping me out. I can throw up nearly 40 times a day,” she told This Morning in June. "I feel so sorry for my partner and my son because I’ve just been so absent from their lives.
"I’ve been on a drip in hospital numerous times, it’s been awful. I can’t even explain, it’s been vile."
But Chanelle also said: "In no way am I ungrateful – I’m so grateful I could have a baby, especially when I’ve got polycystic ovaries and I’m overweight.
"But it’s just such a miserable, miserable time – there’s such a lot of talk about postnatal depression but it can also make you feel really bad when you’re pregnant as well.
"While I’m so grateful and I wouldn’t miss it for the world I don’t want to be ashamed to say I’m absolutely miserable."
Chanelle said earlier this year that she was looking forward to losing weight after giving birth.
"I can’t wait to have the baby, go on power walks and have a healthy regime. I will definitely be trying to get back to the size 10," she said.
"I can't really eat proper meals at the moment because I just have to eat what I can, when I can. It's terrible."
Chanelle revealed her second pregnancy exclusively to The Sun in March - after fearing her yo-yoing weight had left her infertile.
She revealed in January that she was a size 18 and had been told to lose weight if she wanted to have more children, as her weight gain had affected her menstrual cycle.
She actually ended up losing weight while pregnant, dropping to a size 14 after her extreme morning sickness left her unable to eat or hold food down.
She told The Sun in March: "Being pregnant has made me lose weight! I think from, I’ve been off everything unhealthy like junk food and pizza. I don’t want to eat it, the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach.
“I just don’t like junk food at the moment, it’s about as appetising as a plate of slugs!
“I’ve not weighed myself but I know with my clothes sizes, I’ve gone back down to my size 14 clothes.”
Chanelle and Ryan celebrated their one-year anniversary earlier this year, just before announcing a baby was on the way.
They met through a dating app, with Chanelle previously telling The Sun: "We met on Tinder, how bad is that? It’s so mortifying.
“He came over to Wakefield and we went for a drink in a casual bar and then I was so nervous I kept buying shots.
“We ended up getting drunk and going on a proper night out in Wakefield, it was really, really good.”
Chanelle added: "I’d love to marry Ryan – we wanted to marry next year and then straight away have a baby but it’s just gone a bit the wrong way around.
"But who cares? I’m excited now?
“He’s brilliant with my family and Blakely adores him!”
