Celebrity Big Brother’s Sam Thompson makes scathing attack on ‘selfish train wreck’ Sarah Harding and says ‘she’s so full of herself she even thinks her farts smell great’
SAM Thompson has launched a scathing attack on his former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Sarah Harding, branding her a "train wreck" and predicting her romance with Chad Johnson is doomed to fail.
The Made In Chelsea star didn't hold back during an exclusive chat with The Sun Online, accusing her of elbowing him out of the way to get alcohol, enjoying perks the other housemates didn't have, and not caring about anybody but herself.
Sam, 25, declared: "Sarah is a train wreck. I don't know her well, I only know what I saw living with her. I don't know how she is on the outside, what the deal is with her family and how she treats her friends.
"All I know is that from living with her the only person she cares about is herself.
"There were times when she was so full of herself I just thought, I bet she wakes up in the morning and smells her own farts and thinks they smell great."
The younger brother of Louise Thompson admitted Sarah, 35, was "nice" at times and would cook for the whole house, but she'd then "turn" in the evening.
He also joked she could be so keen to ensure she got booze from the house's meagre supplies that she'd almost "rugby tackle" him out of the way to reach the store room before anyone else.
Sam explained: "There's a red light that comes on in the store room when the alcohol is there, and there's not enough to get drunk on, just a couple of bottles of wine and a few beers between all of us.
"When Big Brother's voice would say the store room was open, me and Jordan [Davies] would calmly walk over and then I'd suddenly have an elbow in my face and it was Sarah charging over.
"I'd be rugby tackled to the floor! Okay, it wasn't that bad, but she'd stampede over there with Chad [Johnson] and pour an enormous glass of wine. She would announce she was having an early one and only one glass, but the glass was a triple."
The posh star also confessed he wasn't holding out hope for Sarah's romance with US reality star Chad lasting outside the house.
They hooked up despite Sarah entering the show while dating someone else - and have vowed to keep their relationship going despite Chad being based in the LA and Sarah living in England.
It wasn't all plain-sailing for Sarah and Chad, however, as they had some explosive rows in the house, including one where Sarah branded Chad selfish for wanting to cook a bit of mince which she felt had been designated for the group's dinner.
"Chad is not a bad guy, he's a man with many layers and he's had a hard life, and he's wary of TV shows, I think he got shafted on The Bachelor," said Sam.
"He was very worried about fighting with Sarah.
"He said to me one night that he thought Sarah was being a d***, and he always had her back no matter what, even when everyone else was angry with her. And then she turned on him that night with the meat!
"When I asked him why he didn't stand up for himself when he's so loyal to her, he said he was worried about being seen as aggressive towards her.
"He was petrified of looking like he was disrespectful to women, which he wouldn't have. But I think he's had bad past experiences and he didn't know how big her fan base was."
Sam added: "I have no qualms in saying that there will be an article in a month's time with Sarah saying, 'it's over, he's on a flight to LA and my single's just dropped'."
The star - who enjoyed his own flirtations with Amelia Lily in the house - admitted he was "disappointed" after meeting the Girls Aloud star and alleged she was given a few extra perks the other housemates weren't.
"Yes she has demons, but if I'm honest I was disappointed when I met her," he said.
"I know she was the big star, but were a few contract things that she had that we didn't, like she was assigned her own bed, lots of princessy things.
"She'd get cigarettes on demand which no one else was allowed, and she'd say things that were bad on her and then go up the the diary room and come back down and say 'well that's not gonna get used now'.
"I don't even think that happened as Big Brother is a fair show.
"I think she did it to get one up on us."
Sam also admitted he was unhappy that Sarah was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, saying he felt former X Factor contestant Amelia was a more worthy champion.
He also mused about the 'fix' allegations that arose when some TV viewers complained they were unable to vote for other housemates apart from Sarah.
"I know there's been some talk about it being fixed for Sarah to win, with her's being the only phone line that was working," he said.
"I'm not going to delve into it as I loved Celebrity Big Brother and it was amazing for me, but I did receive about 100 tweets from people saying they couldn't get through to my phone line, and I did think it was odd that Sarah won and got booed.
"I think Amelia should have won it. She was the best person in the house, a permanent force of good."
Sarah broke down in tears when she was crowned CBB winner over Amelia on August 25.
The pop star sobbed as she bagged the £50,000 charity prize with 35 per cent of the vote, compared to the 29 per cent for Amelia.
Speaking to Emma Willis after she left the house, Sarah admitted: “It's been a tough ride.
“I wanted to show everyone at home that I'm just a normal girl.
“I've gone through the whole spectrum of emotions.”
