Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson wants marriage and kids with new boyfriend Casey Johnson as she is ‘too old for showmances’ after doomed union with Lewis Bloor
MARNIE Simpson is ready for marriage and kids with new boyfriend Casey Johnson.
The Geordie Shore star confirmed her relationship with the former X Factor star last month, after The Sun Online first revealed they had grown close while filming dating show Single AF in June.
The pair jetted off for a romantic holiday in Paris together last week and Marnie is already thinking about their future.
She told the Daily Star: "I'm getting older and want marriage and children. I don't have time to waste on a bloody showmance."
Indeed, the 25-year-old has had her fair share of relationship drama since finding fame on the MTV reality show, having had an on-off relationship with co-star Aaron Chalmers before a doomed romance with Celebrity Big Brother co-star Lewis Bloor ended in tears earlier this year.
But Marnie is hoping her 22-year-old boyfriend - who found fame in boyband Stereo Kicks on the 2014 series of The X Factor - will be her Mr. Right and not just Mr. Right Now.
Asked if he's 'The One', Marnie replied: "I've said that too many times in the past and ended up looking like an idiot so I'm not going to jinx it this time.
"I am loved-up and happy though. Casey isn't like any of the guys I've ever dated before so I'm hoping this time is different.
"He's so caring and supportive of me."
The same could not be said for former Towie star Lewis, 27, who cheated on Marnie while she was filming Geordie Shore at the start of the year.

Marnie continues to be part of the show and has signed up to return to the Geordie Shore house in January for series 16, and is hoping history doesn't repeat itself.
She said: "I've signed up for the next series of Geordie Shore and I'm definitely going into the house.
"I'm obviously a little bit worried after what happened last time but I can't let one boy change me.
"After Lewis I never thought I would be happy again. I was so heartbroken.
"But I trust Casey. Deep down I think I always knew Lewis was a cheater. I don't get that feeling with Casey.
"He's nothing like Lewis. He's very supportive. We've already talked about it and he's just said, 'Go do what I do'. He's not jealous at all."
Things certainly seem serious between the pair, as Marnie has already met her potential future in-laws.
She said: "His mum and dad are really, really lovely."
