Lauren Goodger FINALLY confirms she’s split from jailed lover Joey Morrison
LAUREN Goodger has finally confirmed that she’s split from her jailed lover Joey Morrison - after months of denying it.
The former Towie star posted a video on Instagram to tell her fans that their 15 month romance ended a few months ago, confirming our story breaking the news of their split two months ago.

Lying on her bed in the video, the 30-year-old tells fans: "There's been a lot of speculation and claims recently about me and Joey about my weight and our relationship.
"We haven't been together for a few months now and I haven't said anything until now as I don't have to explain my every move and should be allowed to deal with things in my own time.
"My antics out and about recently are because I am single and enjoying myself with my friends."
She continues: "Me and Joey are still speaking, and we're good friends as nothing happened to make us fall out.
"Joey will be home in not too long hopefully and I will see him as we've been through this last year and half together and have a friendship and respect for each other. He's helped me a lot just as I've been there for him so of course we'll remain friends. #always #love #respect #bond."
Back in July The Sun Online revealed Lauren and Joey were on the rocks following a furious row inside HMP Highpoint South, where Joey has been behind bars since 2008 for possession of a firearm, kidnap and blackmail.

And then days later Lauren confessed all about her sad split on a night out, with a source telling us: “Lauren has told all her mates she is single - she said she has finished with Joey and that the relationship is over.
“It didn’t really come as a shock to anyone because people know it wasn't exactly the perfect relationship for her to be in - in fact, we're completely relieved it's all over.

“She was really letting her hair down and it was nice to see her back to her usual self.”
Friends of Lauren, who was desperate to start a family with Joey, have been quietly very concerned about the relationship ever since it started.
Most of her close knit group of friends have been fiercely against her getting close with the bad boy who has been behind bars for nine years.

Romantic Lauren has dedicated over a year of her life to visiting Joey in jail and spoken openly about her dream of having his baby and getting married next year when the con is released from prison, despite what her friends tell her.
Lauren however refused to confirm the split at the time and continued to refer to Joey as her boyfriend in a series of interviews.

But the change in the star was noticeable as she once again started hitting the town and partying with pals - after remaining mainly of the radar during her romance with Joey.
Following her confirmation of the split today, Lauren was offered support from her loyal fans.
One wrote: "So sorry to hear that Lauren. Great that you're still friends. Hope you're doing okay. You're looking fab!! xxx"
While another added: "Stay strong girl, keep your head up, focus on yourself."
