WATCH OUT, DRIVERS

James Argent gets to grips with his new scooter as he starts learning to drive again

JAMES Argent is learning to drive again but rather than trying out a car for size - he's opted for a handy scooter.

The Towie star has struggled to get to grips with the Highway Code in the past and admitted he was finding it hard to pass his theory test.

But now it seems there is nothing stopping him - thanks to his brand new moped.

Wearing a matching coloured helmet, Arg looked delighted with his new form of transport and he grinned as he showed off his L plates.

James is currently laying low after having a nose job, which he told The Sun Online was to remove his huge nostrils.

Arg said: "At school my nickname was always ‘Nostrils’ because my nostrils are huge – I’ve literally never seen anyone with bigger nostrils than me!

“I’ve always known I’ve had a big nose, but where I’ve been so up and down with my weight for so many years, my nose didn’t stand out as much, but now I’ve lost four stone my features show a lot more and I’ve got this large bump and nostrils that are even more prominent.”

“I think if I have the bump removed and the nostrils made smaller it will make me feel a lot more confident and be another step into helping me better myself since leaving rehab – and I’m not gonna lie, better looking and more attractive.

“I want to feel better when I take selfies as there are some I don’t upload because I’m unhappy with my nose, and yeah of course it would be great if it helped meet more women too!

"I spent three months doing Celebs Go Dating and my confidence with women is really improving, so if I can change this part of me that I don't feel confident about I think that will make dating a lot easier.

He added: “I’m so proud of the weight I’ve lost and I’ve got a bit more to go and some toning up to do, but I’ve completely turned my life around this year, and I feel this will just help to complete the better version of me.”

The star carefully climbed out of his car and headed towards his front door, but as he lifted his head, the sun highlighted the bruising under each eye.
