X Factor’s The Cutkelvins lead singer is already a superstar – with a top 10 album and a big money record deal
Shereen, who has a huge Twitter following, was in popular girl group Neon Jungle that once performed at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
THE lead singer of a band that appears on tonight’s X Factor has already experienced a taste of fame.
Shereen Cutkelvin auditions alongside her brothers Jay and Kay in a band called The Cutkelvins but viewers might recognise her from girl group Neon Jungle who had a hit with their catchy pop song Braveheart.
The 20-year-old was one fourth of the very successful girl group from 2013- 2015 alongside Amira McCarthy, Jessica Plummer, and Asami Zdrenka.
The group had a Top 10 album, two Top 10 singles and were nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2015.
They also had a US deal with RCA records – the home of pop superstar Jessie J, John Newman and The Vamps.
Furthermore Shereen had a real taste of fame across the pond as they landed a major gig performing at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in the US back in 2013, where they performed alongside Taylor.
Shereen, who is from Lanark Scotland, has now gone on to form a group with her brothers and hopes to impress the judges with their version of Beyonce – Runnin’ (Lose It All) feat. Naughty Boy.
They will join a host of other wannabe singers tonight as the show continues on ITV at 8pm.

Since it returned to our screens, The X Factor has continued to delight fans.
An X Factor spokesperson said: “As is featured on the show, Shereen was part of group Neon Jungle before they were dropped by their label in 2015.
“Shereen is now hoping to find success on The X Factor in The Cutkelvins, who went through the same audition process as anyone else.”
